Notice of Potential Interview Waiver Case [Part II]

My inquiry reference number ends with DLS. Does that mean that my case is now at dallas? Why did they tell me that mine was still at NBC.

No. My local office is RAL (raleigh). My service request was created my a Tier 1 officer.

This is so strange. All the info we have had to date suggests that Tier 1 don't know where your case is. Maybe, hopefully, your case has gone to Dallas for adjudication but I fail to see how the Tier 1 would know that. I hope thats the case though.

Derwood

Unfortunately you must not have heard the USCIS corollary to that old saying: No news is no news; anything else is disinformation (or plain BS)...

A momentary lapse. A momentary moment of hope ... and ... wait.

The tier 1 officer gave me the request. And if you login to the USCIS account, you can see all the requests that were made on the case.

Strange, as a Tier 2 person told one of our fellow peeps that a Tier 1 is not privy to access the location of a file. Perhaps they have changed that policy to unload the burden of ALL the files at the NBC. I reckon I should write to TLC and tell them that the USCIS has a hoarding problem with all our files!!

Removal of Conditions..  TICK TOCK, TICK TOCK

Time to reset the tick tock clock again.   Roll my eyes.

Helloooo everyone! Hoping the people waiting the longest will hear something soon!
So yesterday I went to USPS to mail a bday gift to my niece who is turning 18 in 2 weeks. The lady next to me at the counter was an Aussie! We had a good old yarn and exchanged numbers. Last week at my work function I met an Aussie too who was our server haha! Then 3 weeks ago I had one of my clients at work call me to let me know he'd met an Aussie girl about 30 minutes from me, she works at the vitamin store and he told her about me so she gave him her details to pass along. I should round them all up for a Pittsburgh Australian meet up :content:

05-18-2022: Filed N-400 online. Received online NOA and Biometrics re-use.

06-03-2022: Interview scheduled (online notice).

It's probably still is true that these contract flunkies still live in blissful ignorance, but when they initiate the SR, the computer generates the suffix according to the files location (to your own FO or MSC if it is still at NBC or the actual FO suffix if now assigned). I'm not sure your faith in their uselessness is shaken...

Strange as Derwood said go to the 1485 then sub section of Family Based. Type in the MSC number and the A number, but you don't type in the A if I remember. I am wondering if you are missing something out or the number is incorrect? Are you using the form/letter with the number 1-797c, that will have the correct MSC number on it for you.

Yes, I followed all of these and I tried this morning again and still couldn't get through.

It might be the case that they have no clue when we ask the tier ones where our files are at, but tricky is that they could generate a service request and get the location off the request number? Could that be it? Or maybe it really is a mistake and that explains why my request is not yet assigned. :crying:

And wait, USCIS did have some system funkiness going on for the past several days. Could that be it?

Yes we all do.

The reason why I asked because the woman on the phone told me that MSC is not assigned for I-485. Made me want to pull my hair out.

I think that's more likely. The bits of the USCIS computer system the public can see are fairly useless. I'm guessing the back-end stuff is worse. I bet the last three digits are generated off the zip code. Was that correct on the email you got?

I'm still hoping this is a sign of good news though.

Card Was Mailed To Me

On May 15, 2015, we mailed your new card for Receipt Number MSC149107xxxx, to the address you gave us. If you do not receive your card by June 14, 2015, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request that we send your new card to you. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

I am a April filer, so I know how much it can suck. No one giving information, and no one really explaining why it is happening. Even the immigration specialist at the Senators office couldn't keep her story straight. None of them, unless they have been through this circus know what we are going through. They can't empathize, or even truly sympathize without that experience behind them. Keep up the good fight everyone. It will come around to you turn. I will be here cheering you all on.

As NPIW, Part Deux inches (or centimeters) closer to 230 pages (the trigger point used by the moderator to kick us over from Part Uno), I think a new round of prediction (or predictions) needs be made. When will Part III begin, what page and who will get the honor of the last post? It was MovinOn last round. I believe it will be on Sunday, page 227 and the last post is a toss up for me...Who else is game to predict while we wait for today's round of approvals (or RFE's, **sigh**)...

Absolutely it isn't!! Remember when your file was in NY and it really wasn't!!

I don't understand why as Derwood and I have opened a service request using the out of process box and not had a problem. Perhaps you can ring them up and ask them to raise one?!?!

I tried to call them a few of times in this morning and the operator says," their agents are not available". I wonder what time they have started working. I called them once but it was almost 3 in afternoon.

I attached the picture in which shows how I failed to do an e-request.

Congrats! Nothing is better than being "actual legal" in this country.
