We were approved today! Just one week shy of a year!!!

My husband is so excited to finally be a legal person again!!

Best of luck to all those still in line!

The last action before this was I got a response to our second SR around 3/12/15 saying we would have a decision within 90 days, so about two weeks later.

Our NPIW was 7/9/14. What a relief!! Finally!!!

Congratulations! Fantastic news. I'm really think that all March filers should be getting approved this week.

Okay hopefully I've embedded this image correctly, but can you guys see how I got the PRODUCTION notice on the 16th, then I got the welcome notice update (Received this on Saturday) and then I got the PRODUCTION notice again on the 18th, this is what I was confused about last week, is it notmal?

WOW, so that is what it will look like on the USCIS page when we get approved. Maybe you'll get 2 green cards, a 2 year and a 10 year, and they'll let you decide which one to keep, wishful thinking right? You should call USCIS and ask about tracking. It's been a week already, you would think it would have been shipped by now.

Congrats tcgator!

So I got a weird update today from uscis. They sent a text/email saying my aos case was updated, so I got excited but when I checked it just said "We have updated your name". WTH? I never updated my name and haven't had any kind of status update since last March. Do you think this could be an error and it meant to say accepted? Ha, wishful thinking maybe.

Normally 7 to 8 days. What I am curious to find out, is how long the OMBUDSMAN takes. I know several of our friends contacted the OMBUDSMAN last Monday, upon your approval. They are out of processing time and with that in mind I wonder how long its going to take for them to get back/sort it all out! Should be VERY interesting..

Sorry folks, I put the OMBUDSMAN in capitals, as I think its important that we should all contact them when our time allows. We can't allow this unreasonable amount of time waiting to carry on. It also should NOT be the end of it, we should all pen a letter to someone in authority letting them know that is just not acceptable the way they have treated us all just because they can!

Yes we contacted the OMBUDSMAN too!

Did you get Notice of Potential Interview Waiver letter? If you did, those dates really don't mean anything to us. It is 9-12 months from AOS NOA for us. You might want to call USCIS, or submit Service Request from the website to find out about your case, but all we really hear back are apologies for delays not related to our cases. You might want to look into Ombudsman as well. The link for Ombudsman is posted all over the first few pages of this forum.

This is a very important message. There has been a major league change in thought on this thread since its inception over a year and 1/2 ago. THe only importance is that you got a NWIP letter, not its date...

im already out of processing but i think you are guys still ahead of me..hehe my NPIW was last September 10 2014..but stil its over six months already.. i dont want renew my ead sooooo hassle.. but im thinkin of renewing it on april 10... i thinking they will notice my application..lol

Again the date of your NPIW letter means basically nothing. What is more important is your Jun NOA date. You're gettin close. We know how you feel. We are still waiting at 11 days away from 1 year. We've chafing in our respective shorts since September (and Gold Bond Powder does not work)...I'd say be patient, but USCIS already said that...And I won't --- don't ever be patient with these IDIOTS...ARE YOU LISTENING GUYS????????

This remindes me of the air attack that we got on Pearl Harbor day with 5 texts from USCIS on that Sunday about our already approved K-1 visa. I think when it comes to computer issues, remember, government contracts are granted to the lowest bidder...You get what you pay for....

That brings up another issue...What are we paying for???????

I filed I485 in July. Guess I have at least a few more months to wait... :(

i did receive that '6 month delay' letter sometime in October!

Our dates are almost exactly the same. If you look at recent approvals we're unlikely to get an approval until May / June at the earliest.

Forever hopeful, forever disappointed :-)

Yeah I'm going to take it as a good sign. Even if it doesn't mean an approval is immanent, at least someone touched my case!
