Notice of Potential Interview Waiver Case [Part II]

Your local office's processing time had nothing to do with the waiver cases. Mine started to process cases after my filing date like 2 months ago. I called and sent a service request. Turned out that my local office did not have jurisdiction over my case and it was still at NBC. THEY ARE HOLDING OUR CASES!

2 weeks later NBC sent me a note, well at the end of my 6-month-waiver-case-supposed-to-wait period, saying they are having a delay and they have no idea how long it is gonna be.

I hope we all get our cases approved soon!

Yes, our cases are held hostage at the NBC, we are very low priority. I sent my first service request yesterday because I could and I want them to know that I am waiting!!! I also sent a request to the ombudsman so they can look into my case, which takes up to 45 business days. I often wonder if we didn't contact them or send them requests to remind them we are still waiting would they care? I doubt it!!! Remember guys we paid for this service and why should we have to take time off work and travel (sometimes for hours) for EAD/AP renewal when they should be sorting out our files in a timely and orderly manner. I will continue to campaign and lobby whoever I can, even the President again t what I see as an unjust and unfair system. Welcome to America, my #######!

Removal of Conditions..  TICK TOCK, TICK TOCK

Time to reset the tick tock clock again.   Roll my eyes.

Yes. You need to complain and keep pushing them. That was how I got my EAD AP combo card. They are a bunch of lazy **ses you know. I'm going to call them right now, the 7th time in this AOS process.

Hi Camtor,

Yes it is sad hearing about all these things!

I don't know I am so sick of the whole thing now, listening to all the stories of how people have been treated by doing things the correct way. It's not fair that we have to wait when we followed everything the USCIS asked of us. I just can't wait for the day the USCIS finally catch up with AOS. I doubt it was like this a couple of years ago and we can't really blame it on DACA, unless they are processing them behind everyone's backs?!?! I guess if they were, it would eventually leak out, these things always do!

I did a gold test instead of ppd skin test coz that way I didnt have to return there to read my skin .I didn't get any more shots ,I showed the vaccination record of last year's and doctor filled out a new vacciantion record form for me .Not sure about syphilis ,I remembered they tested my urine.I did a x -ray too because my RFE mentioned that .My letter is totally different from yours .

Called them. No help. The tier 2 lady was nice and she apologized. But she told me to wait again for the service request. She said 1) there is not time frame for approval date, 2) that I can renew my ead and ap, why worry. I just told her all me stories of having to push uscis every single step to be able to move things forward. I told her that I did not want to renew my card every year. She just told me that I did not need to renew it every year, it is gonna be approved soon.

arrrr....they are USELESS! Anyways, I have my 4th service request of the AOS process in now and hopefully I hear something positive soon.

FYI, USICS states that it is taking approximately One Year to Process AOS. There are a few lucky lottery winners that are approved before one year. I just wanted to throw this out there again.

She specifically said no time frame. I have not received anything from USCIS stating 1 year process time. If you go see there process time, I-485 is not 1 year. Who told you that AOS is 1 year?

It is taking USCIS about a year to process.

Are you talking about adjust of status from K-1 visa or NPIW?

I have several friends who adjusted from K-1 visas and already had their green cards last year. We were filed about the same time. Of course they had interview done at their local USCIS office.

Yes it's around a year from filing. They send a generic letter to either the petitioner or to senators stating 9 months to a year and apologise for delays.

I have several friends who adjusted from K-1 visas and already had their green cards last year. We were filed about the same time. Of course they had interview done at their local USCIS office.

Its up to a year from filing, not from the letter.

Yes, NPIW are a totally different catagory, you cant go by the processing dates at all except to send an SR.

She told you no timeframe to get you off the phone and make sure you don't ring back, we have seen this tactic time and time again on this thread. However, if you involve the ombudsman you can get them to push it!
