UGH....a bit disappointed with the results of talking with an arrogant Tier 2 rep. This was the first time to call and I did find out our case was at the NBC.

Then was lectured about there is no timeline for AOS and how he was a seasoned agent. The government did provide an EAD/AP card that can be renewed as many times as needed while the application is reviewed. Almost saying....what else could you want!

I asked if we were out of normal processing time since our local office is processing Sept 24, 2014 applications and our NOA was June 9, 2014. I was told not to look at the local office timelines.

He went on to explain that after the case is processed with the extensive background checks they do, that is when they contact the local office to schedule an interview. When I asked, "but will we still have an interview since we received a NPIW?" The phone went dead, either a bad connection or I was hung up on.

The good news of the day was we were able to do walk-in biometrics appointment at the local USCIS for the AED/AP renewal.

Good Times!!!

June 11 - "Welcome to America" letter received!!!!!! WE WENT GREEN!
March 10 - Packet sent to CSC
March 13 - Delivered
March 15 - Check Cashed
March 17 - NOA Arrived

Wow, another Tier 2 hanging up when questioned. They did it to Derwood last week. So that is something I am going to address to the ombudsman and to the White House. At least they are consistent and predictable though! Glad it wasn't me ringing up that would escalate straight into a complaint! It's getting old and damn right rude!

They hung up on me last week when I very politely questioned what they were telling me. I can't wait for the first Tier 2 officer to hang up on Shell ...

OMG, I was drinking a cup of tea and I had to spit it out before choking on it! That is SO funny but SO true. To any Tier 2 officer who might get me one fine day, I might be 5ft and weigh around 105 lbs, but I don't take bad manners very well!!! I can be quite the little Rottweiler when someone is rude to me. It might mar your day, if I put in a complaint, but that is nothing to what has happened to the people on this thread, youve ruined our first year of marriage!! Thanks a lot!!!

I am glad they sent it earlier as they took such a long time to send you one of the yucky letters, its weird they took that long, but then there are no set rules with USCIS. I suspect they just make it up as they go along!

Go celebrate your "Welcome to America"! :)
