Normally 7 to 8 days. What I am curious to find out, is how long the OMBUDSMAN takes. I know several of our friends contacted the OMBUDSMAN last Monday, upon your approval. They are out of processing time and with that in mind I wonder how long its going to take for them to get back/sort it all out! Should be VERY interesting..

Sorry folks, I put the OMBUDSMAN in capitals, as I think its important that we should all contact them when our time allows. We can't allow this unreasonable amount of time waiting to carry on. It also should NOT be the end of it, we should all pen a letter to someone in authority letting them know that is just not acceptable the way they have treated us all just because they can!

Removal of Conditions..  TICK TOCK, TICK TOCK

Time to reset the tick tock clock again.   Roll my eyes.

Waiting............    Roll my eyes again :(

Nebraska do NOT deal with family based AOS, that is a mistake. It's your field office processing times you need to look at for whether or not you are out of time, even though most cases don't go to your local office due to workloads. If you are out of processing time with your local office you are entitled to ask for a service request or to contact the OMBUDSMAN!

Did you get Notice of Potential Interview Waiver letter? If you did, those dates really don't mean anything to us. It is 9-12 months from AOS NOA for us. You might want to call USCIS, or submit Service Request from the website to find out about your case, but all we really hear back are apologies for delays not related to our cases. You might want to look into Ombudsman as well. The link for Ombudsman is posted all over the first few pages of this forum.

I think this week, will be the week we see lot's of approvals. Talking about silence, where the heck is Moving on and Derwood today? So quiet without them today. :(

I was hoping for a bit more movement today. Kind of disappointed. Oh well, it is a Monday after all.

Yes, the K1 IS transferred to an office, it should be your local field office, but if that is over capacity it could go to any field office in the USA. However, the OMBUDSMAN, will go off whether or not you are out of processing time and that is dependent on what your local office timescale is!
