Hello All. I just caught up with all the posts. Work schedule has been weird, so I didn't have much time to be on the forums. I am so happy for some movement on MovinOn's case! It sucks that they are making you jump through more hoops, but as everyone said, at least there is movement! Congrats on all the recent approvals as well! Not many news on our side. Still no green card in the mail, but we are not complaining!

Hope you get it shortly. Nice to see you on the thread!

Good morning Peeps,

Hope everyone had a nice weekend. I enjoyed the sun and time away from the USCIS and green card. I have humming birds in the garden/yard. I love those little birds!

Any way Movin On, you did right booking a medical so they can't delay your application any longer, it's pretty disgraceful the time you have waited already.

Well guys another week ahead. I am guessing they are going to change their processing times at some point, so a new wave of people can tell them they are out of processing times. I shall be one of them unless they go into reverse mode, which actually wouldn't surprise me!

Good luck with this week everyone and may the green card force be with you all! :)

My husband's pretty little green card with the mesmerizing black strip on the back arrived on Saturday.

To recap:

May 3 - Card was ordered

May 4 - Welcome notice sent

May 8 - Card sent

May 9 - Card received

That turnaround seems unusually quick, but we're not complaining!

You got that right. Beats the 21 days it took for us...strong work...enjoy the green...

Crud, and you don't have any idea what it is until they get around to licking an envelope and stamp and placing it in the hands of another uniformed representatives of the US Government. It doesn't seem like anyone is escaping the snares of the recent spat of RFE's ...it particularly sucks for you guys... I am truly sorry...Here's hoping it's something easy like a marriage certificate...

Thank you, I guess we will just do what is need for now. I hope it is something simple myself, marriage cert or proof of on going relationship!

I'll admit.. I was fascinated by the black strip on the back!

Good for you!! We are thinking about having it Bronzed ourselves and put on a cute little stand!

hi Guys, I just checked my online status today as usual and there is a message requesting for RFE! I'm May 2014 filer with NPIW letter in september. my medical expired in january 2015 so im hoping it is what they are asking for. I'm just thinking to have an appointment at one of the doctors listed on USCIS website and do the medical before i get the RFE. what do you recommend guys?

Maybe at least set an appointment, Then you can always cancel it if they do not want that. That is what we are doing.

GUESS WHAT - I was traveling on business and when I got off the plane, I got the miracle text -- we got our GC approved May 8th. See our timeline for info -- it took us approximately 13 months from filing AOS, an RFE for a follow-up medical - but we are approved! Thank God!

Thank you to everyone participating in this forum, it has helped us understand so much along the way - the process, the delays, knowing we weren't alone, etc....and to all still waiting, hang in there...the good news finally comes...

Congrats!!
