I never had to take a test either, but...they did issue me a license based on my visa, which expired the day I got it, then had to wait for EAD to come through and they would only issue a license till that expires.

I have USPS verification that my RFE response ahs been received in California so now I wait again. I had a panic attack trying to remember if I included one thing. I am sure I did, just one of those moments you know? COME ON GREEN CARD!!! :clock:

It won't be long now! :D

It appears my letter to reschedule the fingerprinting appointment for my EAD renewal has gone missing in the mail. The tracking still says 'ready for pre-shipment' but it should have been delivered 3 days ago (via priority mail).

I phoned up T1 to see what they could do, their advice was 'wait and see if it's missing or not, if it ends up abandoned because you didn't show up just submit it again'.

Fantastic.

Crud, and you don't have any idea what it is until they get around to licking an envelope and stamp and placing it in the hands of another uniformed representatives of the US Government. It doesn't seem like anyone is escaping the snares of the recent spat of RFE's ...it particularly sucks for you guys... I am truly sorry...Here's hoping it's something easy like a marriage certificate...
