Thank you for the info.

I am speechless to all complicated process just to be a legal permanent resident in the U.S. So, totally you spent almost thousand of dollars just for the medical exam.

I received all kinds of RFE since I filed .The money can be made back ,but the stress and extra work they threw on us is ridiculous.I was asked for "name affidavit " ,because I took husbands surname after married ,I was lucky that the bank here didn't give me a lot of hassle ,we went to bank and I wrote one according to the example I found online .Bank notarized it for me .I was asked for "court record "too while I have never been to court ,we went to local office and got a police check ,paid 12 there . I am holding my breathe still ,as I will not know if this satisfy them or not until I submit .

An infuriating morning.

Spoke toTier 2. I just wanted to know if my case was still at the NBC or if it had made it to a field office. I was told that my case would be adjudicated at the NBC - SIGH! When I very very very politely tried to explain that 'other Tier 2 officers' (you guys) had told me this wasn't the case the line went dead.

I've just raised an Ombudsman enquiry. Lets see if that does any good.

My renewal EAD/AP docs have made it to a USPS sorting office in Chicago and should be delivered tomorrow.

Good and now all you have to do is raise a complaint against the Tier 2 officer who put the phone down on you, if we don't make a stand they are going to keep doing this to people and its not fair nor right!!!

I am not going to renew my EAD (expired September 2015). Long drive 4 hours from Key West to Kendall and total 8 hours. I feel sorry for my husband. He even got scolded at USCIS local office in Kendall when I had my biometric. I won't do that anymore.

Just finished writing an article on my blog. I mentioned White House, Barack Obama, and USCIS on Twitter link to the article. I know they don't care but at least I tried. I quoted some of people experience here on my article so they will know what actually happening in reality.

I was calm about this for a short time, Get the EAD, drivers license and reapply for AP and then just wait. But after reading and watching all this nonsense about so many different and silly RFE's and ridiculous letter from Congressmen and Senators. I am now stressed out again. We have not heard anything new from USCIS. But we did receive this letter yesterday from OUR Congressman so it is confirmed that our case is at our local SFV office:

Congress letter:

"Enclosed is an interim reply from the NBC of USCIS in response to my inquiry on your behalf. I thought you would like to have a copy for your records.

I will let you know when further information is received from the SFV office of USCIS. In the meantime, should you have any question or comments, please do not hesitate to contact my office."

USCS:

"According to the system the case listed above is under the jurisdiction and is currently located at the SFV Field Office, for more information on the status of this case you need to contact that office"

So there ya have it!

I want them to get on with it! I have a vacation planned for Jun 5th. I don't want to be messing with this when we have done everything they have asked and in a timely manner already!

I think all of us will agree that they make up the rules as they go along. The last time I spoke to Tier 1 agent, he refused to let me access my 11 year old step-daughter's case without her mother's permission. He didn't care about the fact that she was 11 years old, could not consent for herself, or the fact that I was the petitioner who's name is on EVERYTHING. When I basically told him that every other agent never had an issue letting me access her file since she was a minor, he told me basically to call back and get someone else, because he wasn't budging/ending the call.

When I call now, I don't even use the word step-daughter anymore. It takes too long to get a real person on the line. Its sad that we have to basically demand or borderline manipulate our way to getting to a Tier 2 agent, some of which who can be just as clueless as the Tier 1 agents. My last experience with a Tier 2 was a nice one though, I will give her a lot of credit for showing concern about our case, which is clearly out of her hands.

Call your congressman's office. Speak directly to someone and insist that they contact DIRECTLY the SFV office. Ask them to demand that your case is finalized by next Friday. Surely, they can get the number to the actual office.

Day off today so calling around for a medical, call the one nearest to me to begin with and its a cell number and the Dr who answers sounds like a dodgy salesman and comes to your house to perform the medical...no thanks, second person I call is a genuine Drs office and says Dr be out until June 1st so im like err ok i'll keep looking, third Dr has a really grumpy hates her job type receptionist and quotes me $500 which is $300 more than other 2. For all of you who have the phone slammed down on you by a Tier 1 or Tier 2 officer or a rude IO at a field office, you do have the right to make a formal complaint. Obviously and it goes without saying we need to treat them with the respect that we so wish for in return. If this is not the case, don't let them bully you just because they have the power of authority. Thanks Derwood! :)http://www.uscis.gov/policymanual/Print/PolicyManual-Volume1-PartA-Chapter6.html

That is Shady. I am fortunate that my family physician is al so on the list and was very reasonable. I was worried I was gonna be stuck paying over $400 again.

I am going to track my package when I get home. Hopefully they will accept everything and my card will be in production. I am wondering if the Doc I saw initially had filled in the vaccination form properly, that they might have let the date slide.
