It is very bad system at all. I thought local USCIS processing time was correct. I am now out of believing those anymore.

You've got to get off the processing time merry-go-round. They mean absolutely nothing to NPIW cases. They are at NBC until they are release from purgatory to a FO. Since family -based AOS's are not processed at NBC and have no processing date, they are not beyond processing time as they sit rotting in Mizzuri. Then when they do get to a local FO it rots, even though it has a NOA date 3-5 months out of that offices posted dates.

These dates serve only 2 functions (IMHO): 1. To act as the gate keeper barring SR"s until after that date at your local office, even though chances are it won't be adjudicated there. 2. To make directors look good to get bonuses...Don't those dates look soooo gooood!!

The sooner you get off these dates the better off you'll be. Watch them only to know when to fire off your first SR and inquiry to the Ombusman and then never look at them again...

Just a friendly PSA...

I would send an e request to the ombudsman and probably write to the Whitehouse. Then I would ring up that USCIS and ask them how to make a formal complaint seeing as they have you money and have had it for a year and done absolutely nothing with that money, other than opened up a new field office and probably paid out staff bonuses...... But that's me, when I feel something is unjust I tend to make sure that they know I am not happy. Good luck with your e request!

Good Morning Peeps,

Well another day in the visa journey and not much happening with USCIS right now, apart from opening up a new field office.

Still hearing that dripping noise, still staying angry and composing another letter to the White House. Talking of politics well its the General Election today in the UK, so I will be preoccupied watching it intently and seeing which political party will win. Which ever party are elected one thing is for sure when an MP makes a request to another government dept be it housing, social security, immigration, the request is never ignored or swept under the carpet.

Any way let's hope today is the day that movement happens, thinking of you "old timers", Movin On, Cahrie, Nat and Mark etc, etc, etc, :(

Good luck Peeps. :)

I just noticed on your timeline that your RFE came from Chatsworth field office? When did you receive the letter for the RFE in the mail? Our local office is Chatsworth and our Congressman just sent a letter to us and confirmed that our case is in Chatsworth.

I got the letter last Friday. I mailed everything to them last night and they should get it Friday. Hopefully it will be processed quickly. I am feeling antsy now

Timeline

  1. Oh Forgot to mention, I got a response to my email from one of the senators offices and I have to say I was very disappointed. It didn't even address my case, only that Obama is an idiot and more focused on giving the illegal immigrants a pass.

Dear Mrs. (His karma):

Thank you for contacting me regarding President Obama’s recent actions related to illegal immigration. I appreciate having the benefit of your insight on one of the most important issues of our day.

As you may know, on November 20, 2014, President Obama issued a series of Executive actions effectively granting amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants. This unconstitutional use of executive authority will encourage more illegal immigration and undermine efforts to fix our broken immigration system in the future. By circumventing the legislative process, President Obama has sent the message that the United States will not enforce its own laws and will continue to allow the dangerous influx of criminal activity on our southern border. I will fight to defund President Obama's unconstitutional Executive actions while assuring that the Department of Homeland Security has the resources necessary to protect the American people.

I have worked throughout my time in the Senate to develop a solution to our broken immigration system that guarantees the security of our borders, restores the rule of law, and ensures stability for future generations. I will continue to promote these policies, but I will oppose any bill that incentivizes illegal conduct and encourages further disrespect for our laws. Immigration reform is ultimately about securing our nation’s borders and improving our system for legal immigration, not about rewarding illegal actions. We are a proud nation of immigrants, and we are a nation of laws. If policymakers will agree that all immigrants must abide by the rule of law, then we can work towards consensus on improving the immigration system through the legislative processes.

I appreciate having the opportunity to represent the interests of Texans in the United States Senate. Thank you for taking the time to contact me.

Sincerely,

JOHN CORNYN

Shaking my head, don't these senators, politicians etc realise that one day we will be voters as will our family and extended families and then our friends and such?!?!

It seems some politicians regard us mere hamsters on wheels without voices, they seem to think that we don't have the intelligence to make an informed choice of who we want to run the Country!

That happened to Maggie in the UK, she decided to ignore the people, she thought she was above it all, didn't do her much good when the people said enough was enough and the rest was history!!!

I wont be voting for this person who sent this to you, nor my husband nor his my husbands family any time soon!

This made me more angry than I was to start with. I already know what Obama did, I wanted to know what He, as my Senator was going to do about the BS we have to put up with and the money grab that legal immigration has become!

I stopped put my hope on these politicians after I sent a request to Joe Garcia. He did not address any single thought of my request regarding expedite my EAD. Instead, he sent me a bunch of nonsense about how he's working hard and ask me to support his cause.

I got the letter last Friday. I mailed everything to them last night and they should get it Friday. Hopefully it will be processed quickly. I am feeling antsy now

Sheesh. A year to wait for an RFE letter. They really need to improve their process and PRIORITIZE people who went through immigration the legal way....
