everyone is so positive - what an awesome way to start our week - lets go green, lets go green, lets go green

Yes last week was awesome, well awesome as it can be for USCIS, so we are all feeling optimistic for this coming week, let's hope there is an approval by 10.30 am. I would deliver the USCIS some flavoured coffee if I knew it would help them!! Im sure Espared would send some Mountain Dew for them too!

Did you guys celebrate and paint the town red (or green)?

Oh boy, that was a big celebration also considering the fact that we did everything on our own, using this forum and saved a couple of thousand $$$ on lawyers. Hubby already booked a trip to DR to celebrate :dancing::dancing:

But seriously, that was such a relief for all of us, I really hope you are the next one, nlhernan, you are right on the schedule here!!!

So when should someone contact the ombudsman? I filed in first week of november 2014. Got my ead card in january.received NPIW in february.can i write to the ombudsman?

You need to look at your local field processing times, to give you an idea. I doubt they are working on November filers at the moment, most are on July and such. I filed in August and can't do a service request nor contact the ombudsman. It's a waiting game I am afraid and some having been waiting a year and over!

I've filed 2 SRs (waiting for the answer to the second, the first didn't seem to indicate it had left the NBC) and contacted the ombudsman Friday last week. Hoping to hear something soon.

NPIW: September 29th, 2014

Received Green Card: June 13th, 2015.

Completed: October 5th, 2018

 

N-400:

Submitted: December 11th, 2019

Interview: April 22nd, 2020

Interview descheduled and now waiting for further updates...

I've filed 2 SRs (waiting for the answer to the second, the first didn't seem to indicate it had left the NBC) and contacted the ombudsman Friday last week. Hoping to hear something soon.

Because you are out of processing time you should hear something shortly! Good luck and let's hope we see lot's of approvals!

The last action before this was I got a response to our second SR around 3/12/15 saying we would have a decision within 90 days, so about two weeks later.

Our NPIW was 7/9/14. What a relief!! Finally!!!
