Thank you! We get snow in Aus, just not in Sydney where i'm from haha :) where i live in north west PA we get hit by the great lakes weather so we got hit very hard the last 2 winters!

Happy birthday! It's my son's birthday also. It's a birthday so great, they celebrate you in at least 2 countries (I honestly don't know what Cinco de Mayo is like in other parts of the world). ;)

Yes, that my case was last worked on Feb 12, 2015 and after that its somewhere on the Mercy of God...

So I spoke to a tier 2 and he said that I can send a letter explaining that my children are Canadian citizens, not intending to immigrate, and that it would be difficult to get copies from a non cooperative ex. That they could be ordered but with no guarantee to arrive prior to the 87 day limit I have and he said they would either accept the letter or provide an extension. I am going to do what I can to order them anyway so I have a copy for my own records, and that way if it is an issue, I will have them ordered.

For the people having to redo a medical, do we just use the I-693 form that expired 01/31/2015 since they offer no newer version?

Yeah ours had the same expiry, and we had no problems. The updated one still doesn't appear to be available yet.

Just spoke to my lawyer

She said our case is now at SFV office

It was at Los Angeles County office before this

She said she called the director of the chatsworth office and he said we might need a new medical or an interview

By Friday we should know

Great idea, smoke signals from a barbecue, and champagne flowing with news of our approvals. Trouble is they might not even approve us this summer time, with them we could be waiting until we are collecting our pensions and have dozens of great grandchildren! :(
