It mean as soon as you get the new medical to them you should be approved within a couple weeks, it is a good thing.

Oh well that's good news. Wish I had waited a few days longer to send in my AP application (didn't apply at the time I applied for EAD since I didn't think it would take this long). I don't think there's any way to get my money back from USCIS for that though.

May 20, 2014: Sent the AOS package
May 22, 2014: NOA for I-485 and I-765
June 10, 2014: Biometrics appointment
June 17, 2014: RFE for a joint sponsor
July 30, 2014: We send the RFE package in
August 1, 2014: I-485 moved to Nebraska Service Center and status changed to RFE review
August 25, 2014: EAD status changed to Card/ Document Production
September 10, 2014: Notice of Potential Visa Waiver Case

Good morning everyone! Congrats on the approvals! I am done trying to figure out this system. Some are approved in a few months and some wait for 15 months. I don't think we will ever know the reasoning behind all of this So with that said, we will file for the AP again then after we have that and the EAD card for a year and a 4 year drivers license then we will just wait. Maybe send in a SR once and awhile to keep someone looking at our case. Maybe they will just wait until next March and approve us with the 10year card, wouldn't that be nice!? We have waited for 13months so what is 10 more. This system is still messed up and when all is said and done I will be writing, forming petitions, contacting Senators and then maybe the white house to try to get REAL REFORM for this system.

Have a good day guys and good luck!! I'll be watching! :)

You didnt send them another filing fee did you? The renewals are no charge as long as you have a pending I-485 case.

My wife got approved on a Tuesday, and she had her biometrics for EAD renewal on that Friday. We called USCIS and they contacted the office to let them know why she was not going to show up.

espared12, has USCIS terminated your wife's EAD/AP renewal applications yet?

though I cancelled my AOS appointment by mailing them a letter, and the IO at the InfoPass interview said the renewal applications would be cancelled if I receive the approval for I-485, the status of my applications still remain as

On March 25, 2015, we received your Form I-131, Application For USCIS Travel Document...

On March 25, 2015, we received your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization...

Did we see this one? Another June filer! Congratulations to them, but what the heck is going on? We have people waiting from Jan-April, and people from June are getting approved? Oh, how I wish I could work at USCIS, just for a month, to really discover what's going on and how it works! What an eye-opener it would be.
