1 year, 21 days over here! USCIS received my RFE response (for the expired medical and proof of on-going marriage) as of yesterday. Hoping to hear from them soon!

Congratulations Camtor and Sapporog! :D

Sorry ethomps, forgot about you guys! So many people who still dont have a card, yet they are processing June and July cases. Shake my head again! One day I am going to wake and realise I don't have a head on top of my shoulders any more, as I will have shook it that much it will have fallen off! SMH yet again! Hang in there Guys! :(

How long from ordering the new card does it get mailed? I want to go to Canada for mother's day weekend. I wonder if I'll get my card in time...

Average wait is around 8 to 10 days, rarely sooner, sometimes later but a mean average around 10 days from the approval letter!

Good morning Peeps,

Well I can't believe what I was reading this morning, Camtor has to get an info pass before they produce a GC, might as well just had an interview months ago and be done with it. We also have a Jan 14 filer, can you believe it? I honestly, honestly cant believe it.

Any way I am praying that all the "old timers", Movin On, Ethomps, Nat and Mark, Rebor, Cahrie, Jan 14th filer and everyone else who has been waiting a year or over. Shaking my head. Hopefully one day someone will get a congressman who takes it further and does something about these inexcusable delays. I guess it's back to the letter writing and probably a link in that letter to this thread and the last one, so the person I write too, can read it for themselves.

Come on USCIS time to approve people that have been waiting for FAR too LONG! Hope this day brings you ALL the news you have been waiting for! :)

Ive just read it and it says you need the appointment before they send the card. :( To set up an info pass, don't you have one set up? Don't know what to say, just shocked at the way they treat people! :(

Good morning Shell! It is really disturbing to see people who applied in January still waiting for no apparent reason... Disgusting... Shell, where did you read that we have to do it? Was in the article link that nlhernan posted? I am not sure if we can go yet, because she didn't actually get her welcome letter... Not sure what to do. I can't even call them cause my wife is not around today... damn it... Not sure if i should keep the infopass and just go there hoping for the best, or if I should cancel it and wait until the welcome letter arrives...

Shell, from what i just read on the forums it's just a standard canned line. I think since we already had biometrics it should be fine! Peeps who already got approved, did your notice say something similar, and you got your card anyway? Most threads on this forum say that nothing needs to be done...

Also from my understanding we can just ignore my wife's biometrics appointment for her EAD renewal tomorrow, right?

sorry was looking for the paragraph that mentioned the audit, yes you don't need to go for biometrics, Espared12 cancelled theirs.

It means that USCIS is calling you in for a brief walk-in visit in order to collect the information, photos, and fingerprints that it needs in order to create your actual green card.

It is the link Nlhernan sent you, as above it says you need to go for it in order to create your GC! (

I would simply wait for one of 2 things: A message that a card is in production or the welcome letter saying what you need to do. As you say this may be a stock line, especially since your case was most likely adjudicated at a distant FO. Anyway you look at it, it's baloney snot...

Now I am confused because a lot of the threads on the forum say that as long as you had biometrics done already you don't need to go. But yet you are right the article says we need to go...

Good evening everyone. We finally calmed down a little bit. Since the first round of news the status has changed to Welcome Notice Mailed. But I have a question, does anyone know what ADIT processing means? Here is what the status says

On April 28, 2015, we registered your permanent resident status and mailed you a Welcome Notice for Receipt Number MSC149XXXXXXX. Please follow the instructions in the notice. Your new permanent resident card should arrive by June 27, 2015, after this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

What does all this mean? Very confused...

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! So happy for you both! Disregard ADIT processing, it's like biometrics. People that opt out or don't apply for EAD/AP card go through this process. If you've done biometrics, fingerprints and pics are valid for 15 months so not applicable in your case. Once again congratulations, and enjoy some time off from USCIS!

Thanks nlhernan! The first message we received stated that the green card was ordered. And then the welcome letter thing...

If you don't mind me asking what did you do to cancel your EAD renewal biometrics? Do i need to call?
