congratulations to all of you who were approved this past week! What an exciting day yesterday was! :) I couldn't keep up with all the emails. haha Let's hope for continued success stories next week, and beyond.

funny story: my husband and I were watching The Secret (netflix) last night, and the basic premise is, if you want it and give it positive thoughts, it'll happen (I'm paraphrasing, big time!). When it was over, he said to me, "I will get my green card!" which was super funny, because that was the exact thought I was sending out to the universe! :rofl: I'll let you know the follow up to that. ;) Anyway... Happy Saturday, all.

Has the makings of a box office hit...

Quick question Natonstan, I remember after a long semester in school, just after walking out of the last final exam you feel like the semester is still ongoing and then suddenly within a day or two you feel like all the struggles of study for that period pass you by and are over and behind you. I was one of those professional students so I know that feeling well. My question to you is does getting approved and mellowing into that reality give you a similar feeling? Does it all feel behind you? I know I long for that feeling and the GC isn't even mine..

Oh Lordy, this is a new one to me, never heard of this one. I don't even know what this means! Your case is put on hold till the bio renewal?? What the heck? I'm sick to my stomach.

When you submitted this SR, it was for out of processing, right? Generally the letter will state the reason for the SR. Or did they submit a failure to receive? It is always on a Friday afternoon/evening when this kind of stuff happens with a whole weekend to stew before you can call and say what the....

I think it is an old message and has not affected your processing. I think it is more of the junk that comes out of USCIS...

This SR was done by Tier 2. I just noticed on the letter that type of service request is non-delivery of other notice. I don't know why she did that despite I told her my case is over processing time. This is wired but I may have to ignore it.

Good help is hard to find. Even when you think they've helped you (Tier 2 that is) you see they were actually a wolf in sheep's clothing...

Remember the statement that "I'm from the government and I'm here to help" is never a good thing...

Just received the 'Welcome to the United States' notice in the mail, hopefully I'll get my card next week

Update just heard from Steve, "Due to reasons unrelated to our film, shooting will be delayed indefinitely". Where the heck I have heard that statement before?????

Removal of Conditions..  TICK TOCK, TICK TOCK

 

Time to reset the tick tock clock again.   Roll my eyes.
