Wow, wow, wow. Congratulations!! Whoop, whoop!

I must admit I am shocked a July filer, did you do a expedite or something? Or was it that your case just got released from purgatory at NBC?

Any way go celebrate and enjoy your moment! :)

Not sure if you are, I would give the computers time to update! Normally takes around 11 days to get to you in the post, but I think it can take longer sometimes like Nlhernan although he was the exception, being an exceptional person of course!! :)

well i think last monday i sent an email to our senator here in Iowa then today i received a a letter from them which is super fast.. But it is a copy of Privacy Act Release form. the instruction said just complete the form and return to her office in des moines... Is someone in there experience this also?

This is totally normal and a necessary part of the process.

Congratulations!!!! Enjoy! Took them long enough!

Why an interview? Did you receive a NPIW letter? Was yours a K1 visa initially? Not sure why they would interview after a year, makes no sense, but then again the USCIS don't make much sense any way!

Go celebrate! :)

Green is a great color, congrats guys...

Thanks!

I went to the social security office to get a new card without the "DHS authorization" clause on it and they handed me a letter saying they needed to verify my documents with USCIS and that it may take up to 4 weeks. I took this to mean that my info possibly isn't updated in the database (it's been 10 days since my AOS was approved). I was going to head to the DMV straight after (fun morning!) but since my driver license expires on May 18, thought it better to play it safe and wait til next week when there's more of a chance my info can be verified.

2013 7/15 I-129F sent, 7/18 received Dallas lockbox, 7/22 NOA1, 10/22 NOA2, 11/15 NVC Case Created, 11/20 NVC Shipped, 11/25 Consulate received, 11/28 Packet 3 received/returned, 11/29 Medical, 12/9 Packet 4 received

2014 1/9 Interview - Approved, 1/15 CEAC - Issued, 1/17 Visa in hand, 2/5 POE: LAX, 4/4 Married!, 4/8 AOS/EAD/AP filed, 4/14 NOA1, 5/7 Walk-in biometrics, 5/19 EAD/AP approved (expedited), 5/22 EAD/AP mailed, 5/23 EAD/AP received, 7/29 Interview waiver letter

2015 4/13 AOS approved (no interview), 4/22 Green card received

2017 1/17 I-751 ROC filed (VSC), 1/23 NOA, 2/28 Biometrics

2018 1/31 ROC approved

2020 1/14 N400 filed

I was wondering if we had to go and have that taken care of ourselves at the S.S. Office or if it was automatic. Lol, that was probably a silly thought huh? That something would be automatic with this process.

I too got bored and called them. Went through the whole rigmarole with T1, told a 42 minute queue for T2 (at about 1.30 or so) and I got a call back at around 4. Didn't get told anything more, the person apologized and all that because she had no information. My first question (as always) was asking where the case is - only to be told the NBC. However, at the end of the call it switched ton "Oh - it's actually at [your local office], that usually means an interview is scheduled"

So... who knows. I might have an interview, I might not.
