Today, just received the mail regarding SR done by Tier 2 on Jan 21st. The letter was from National Benefit Center.

"USCIS system indicate that on 05/06/14, you appeared at the local application support center and had biometrics taken. Processing has resumed on your application. If you need further information regarding the status of your case, please check Case Status Online at www.uscis.gov."

I fee so tired with them, told me what I know. So surprised with the answer :halloween:

Processing has resumed on your application --- what does it mean???

Oh Lordy, this is a new one to me, never heard of this one. I don't even know what this means! Your case is put on hold till the bio renewal?? What the heck? I'm sick to my stomach.

Processing has resumed on your application --- what does it mean???

When you submitted this SR, it was for out of processing, right? Generally the letter will state the reason for the SR. Or did they submit a failure to receive? It is always on a Friday afternoon/evening when this kind of stuff happens with a whole weekend to stew before you can call and say what the....

I think it is an old message and has not affected your processing. I think it is more of the junk that comes out of USCIS...

Well another week ends on the west coast, so no news out of Imperial CA; it won't be this week for us. 2 weeks from today our NOA has a birthday we don't want to celebrate. Oh well...

It has been a great week that started quickly and ended well. Some of our long timer March filers have finally gotten the card that brightens your life and removes the limbo...Congratulations around, you have my permission to celebrate...

So it WAS the Ombudsman!! I'm glad I cracked it Haha

He emailed the ombudsman and the ombudsman replied through email. I did the ombudsman thing form and submitted it but not emailed them. Is there a difference?

Wow, just got home to see 3 approvals. CONGRATULATIONS!

It's a shame it's Friday, they seemed to be on a roll for a minute there! I submitted an inquiry with the ombudsman on Tuesday/Wednesday (can't quite remember) so maybe next week will be my week. Happy Friday everyone!

if you guys can take the time to answer me, 2 months ago, when i check my online status, it changed in to the system does not recognise the receipt number entered and i called USCIS and they said it is totally ok and my file is active and it will be processed sequentially! (I don't know if they have a system that show them my file) but while reading this thread, it does not seem like any body has this kind of online status message or talk about things like that so I'm getting worried. do any of your guys have a status popping up that says "your receipt number is not recognised and try to enter it again"? the previous message before this one was, we can't find your application to show the status online and that was fine because many applicants have that kind of message when they want to check their status online, but this one is making me uncomfortable. what if they lost it?? I'm praying not. but any experience from you guys will be a help.

Hello, we have the same message. The Second Tier Officer said everything is fine when I checked and to 'give us some time to look at the application'..that was in late January of this year.

We filed for the AOS in very early December. Just got a letter today about 'potential waiver of interview' and the six month 'wait'.....so who knows

I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news but it's 9-12 month wait from AOS NOA with NPIW.

The only thing I did was fill out the Ombudsman form, I didn't email them or anything after that, simply submitted the form.

congratulations to all of you who were approved this past week! What an exciting day yesterday was! :) I couldn't keep up with all the emails. haha Let's hope for continued success stories next week, and beyond.

funny story: my husband and I were watching The Secret (netflix) last night, and the basic premise is, if you want it and give it positive thoughts, it'll happen (I'm paraphrasing, big time!). When it was over, he said to me, "I will get my green card!" which was super funny, because that was the exact thought I was sending out to the universe! :rofl: I'll let you know the follow up to that. ;) Anyway...
