Good morning espared12, we need some of that green stuff you're drinking, great news about dengzhe, waited long enough!

Good morning KVE, not sure I know what Global Entry? What I do know is someone recently got their GC successfully expedited for the purposes of student aid, it was on the thread around a week ago, so you can go down that route!f

Global Entry is a program for American citizens that allows them to bypass the lines and go to a kiosk to rapidly clear immigration. It requires a $100 fee and a clearance process with fingerprints and facial recognition. I have it and like it, but since my wife can't get it until she gets a passport in 3 years, I don't use it now... Edited by nlhernan

Don't worry. After I got the sent message, it was not until the following morning that I received the tracking number. I never received the welcome notice. I am going to be calling USCIS today to have them send another welcome notice out, not sure if that's possible though.

espared12, thank you for the information :)

the notice of Welcome to America seems odd to people who been waiting for the approval for a year or so

I think it should be sent along with the I-797C NOA or even when we passed the BC :)

Good morning, everyone.

USCIS updated my status at 7:30 AM :wow: . which seems to be a good sign for everyone, they are working hard on our cases. :)

On April 16, 2015, we mailed your new card for Receipt Number MSCXXXXXXXX, to the address you gave us.

But there is no tracking number in the status.

BTW. I have not received the Welcome Notice yet.

Just got the same message without tracking...I guess we need to trust 'em...HA!!

Nothing since our call from the call from the IO on our approval day has been ordinary. 4 notices of production of the card: 3/27, 3/30, 4/10 and 4/13. Now no tracking...

Hello everyone! So this is what happened on our info pass appointment. Apparently, my case is currently enroute to houston from reno. After 1 year and two weeks, that's the news. The io said that we may or may not be interviewed. She said that since it is being transferred to my local field office, we may be interviewed. She said that while communicating with people throughout this process, we may have said something that triggered them to think that we might need an interview. This is so frustrating! I don't mind getting interviewed at all but it took them more than a year to think that we might need an interview? I can't believe it. I guess our honeymoon trip will be cancelled now. Great.

Fantastic news!!!! Congratulations!!! I bet you're actually in a state of shock after waiting so long! Go celebrate :)

Seems you're right it IS happening seems they are on a roll lately. It gives everyone else hope, thanks for sharing, it's so IMPORTANT we get as many dates as possible so we can share the information with others!!

State of shock is right. As soon as I got the text I checked the site and saw the wonderful news I cheered. Then my wife beat me to calling about it and we cheered a bit over the phone. Now to get through the work day and celebrate.

Thank you Shell!

I will definitely stay around this thread even after receiving my GC. I will try my best to help as I got support from all of you!

Your approval and GC are approaching! I can tell ! :)

Congratulations !

Thank you for the congratulations. C'mon USCIS! Let's pick up the pace and get all of these great people who have been waiting for so long through the process.

Would you be willing to work together to create a few charts? I was thinking of making a NPIW with all recipients of this letter from April 2014 to April 2015 and compile data of only K1 via AOS'ers with NPIW letters. Maybe we could put these in a public google drive folder and share the URL in our signatures and that way everyone can add info to the spreadsheet and we can update the charts once a month.

Yeah, sure. I love making charts.

For all of you getting your tracking number soon I suggest you sign up for the USPS notifications. The same day I got the tracking number update from USCIS the GC was delivered. USPS estimated 04/15 delivery but it was delivered 04/14. If it wasn't for the USPS delivered notification I got I wouldn't have checked my mail until the 15th.

Last time I entered the country from an international origin (which was a few weeks ago), I was surprised to see that they were routing all of the US Citizens and PRs to kiosks (like the Global Entry program). It was so quick that I had to wait about an hour for my bag. This was at Dulles... maybe they are piloting a program there or something.
