I think this is even harder knowing it is at our LOCAL office then not knowing where it is at all. WHY is it at the local office? IF they need RFE then any office could have done that, right? That is what has been happening. I have been trying to keep busy with work and not think about it. But it is not working very well.

I like the chart. Can you explain it? I'm a chart noob it seems. :-/

Sure. Basically around the same time each month, I compile the data from the Immigration timelines (each date is represented by a different color and the specific dates are listed on the right). It only includes those adjusting from K1 visas, but includes both NPIW and those who received interviews.

The month at the bottom (on the x axis) represents the month in which NOA1 was received. The percentage (the y axis) represents the percent of adjusters who have had a decision.

As you can see from the chart, Jan has been pretty flat for the last 3 months. That makes me think that a sizable number of VJers don't update their timelines after a decision -- like close to 30%. Also, it appears that roughly 25% of VJers that complete the timeline receive interviews.

Like you said in your elegant post from earlier, this is really an extremely small sample of what USCIS deals with, so I'm not certain that any other real conclusions can be drawn. I do like looking at it like this, though, since it makes it clear that things ARE moving, albeit slowly.

It's number 2 which bothers me most. It mainly all the info that you had to present for K1 and all the evidence for ROC, but not for AOS or at least if they were insuffiecient from K-1 you would be culled for early interview or at least and RFE months ago. Why not just interview you. They lost it all that is plain and simple...This sucks...

None of this process makes any sense what-so-ever! NONE! I still don't understand why your card has not been mailed. It really should not be this difficult.

With absolute astonishment, both my K-1 and K-2 were approved today for AOS. Checked USCIS website as I have done everyday since last June and for the both of them, the beautiful words appeared:

Card Was Ordered To Be Produced
For those of you still waiting, hang in there. I know it's frustrating, but the day will come when you will see those same words appear before you when you check your case status. Very happy day for all of us. :dancing::dancing::dancing:

I can imagine you don't want me to say this, but it's not necessarily at your local office. Nlhernan was also emphatically assured that his was at the NYC office, and in fact, it was in Imperial, Ca. We already know that these people can't tell the same answers from one person to the next, so please try not to dwell on the what ifs (I know; easier said than done!). That's only going to cause you grief and stress. :( I'm so so so sorry that you're having to deal with this at all. I feel sick for you. :(

WOW! congrats! After waiting a year and a half for your K1, I bet you're more than relieved. We don't even check the USCIS website because I am pretty sure we will be green-card-less for at least another 4-5 months.

Just received my first ever honorary RFE-- not necessarily what I was hoping to see, but at least there's movement on my case. I was half-expecting this since my medical/vaccination record is now expired.

"The following evidence is required to establish your eligibility.

1. Your Form I-693 Report of Medical Examination and Vaccination Record has expired. Please have an authorized civil surgeon complete Form I-693, Report of Medical Examination and Vaccination Record with a revision date of 10/11/2011 or later. Form I-693 must be submitted in a sealed envelope. Civil Surgeon MUST complete BOTH the medical examination and vaccination portions of the form, even if you have entered with the K-1 non-immigrant visa.

2. Evidence of marital union such as tax returns, bank accounts, credit card statements, leases, mortgages, insurance policy statement, birth certificate of children, photos after marriage, etc."

Lovely. I'm assuming this means I need to take the entire medical again?

These are on the check list I got for an interview, it looks like a K1 and ROC all in one

You have a point,,but both of the officers at the info pass insisted that is was at SFV as of March 20th and I did not tell the second officer that the first officer told me it was there because I wanted to test them and see if they gave me different answers. I also asked them both if it was possible that our case could be transferred again to a different location and they both say NO. So I don't know, all I know is that it is creating havoc in our life.
