More than likely there is an answer for this but i've looked everywhere and found nothing.... Is there any place at all we can look at approval dates? VJ admins haven't answered any of my requests to add tracking data for NPIW cases.

Do we have somewhere at all to look at the data? a spreadsheet maybe?

What percentage of NPIW recipients are waiting 1 year from filing to receive their Greencard? 50%, 75%, 100% ??

I do this for fun sometimes.

Seriously? Are they paying for the medical? Normally they only ask for an update vaccination record but I guess they are just on another power trip. Sorry that this has happened to you. Shaking my head yet again, its not as if they are consistent across the board! I guess it means you're near the end of the AOS journey though! That's the only positive thing I can see about the whole thing right now!

Wouldn't that be nice! What a waste of $95 the first go-round. The annoying thing is a vaccine of mine is out of date now, so I'll be needing to get that too. According to the Civil Surgeon I've called, this has been happening at an overwhelming rate-- lots of repeat clients (good for them I guess haha). I'd almost want to discourage anyone in the future from submitting the medical with their original application to save them the money since an RFE is likely. Looks like the medical is going to cost me $180, and the vaccine $45. Not sure if our medical insurance will cover any of it. Something to inquire about I guess!

It's like you're having to do the work for the interview without the actual interview. Bogus.

This is what I'm saying! Consistency across the board would make a world of difference in the frustrations of those of us waiting. Shame on them for even sending out RFE's that are the result of their ridiculous wait times. Grrrrr. :ranting:

Yeah I have no idea why they're requesting additional evidence regarding our relationship! I sent a certified copy of our marriage certificate, joint accounts and all of that stuff with my original application. Pretty strange. Maybe they just want to make sure we're still together, not sure.

I have a very strong feeling that we will get one of these also..I just went and looked at our Vaccination report and guess the date for that form is...08/2011. So that particular form that the surgeon used has expired.

Aw.. that sucks.. I'm actually slightly confused by that part, because the date at the top of my i-693 said it expires 01/31/2015, which is still the most up to date form on the USCIS website. But the civil surgeon didn't do the medical portion, just the vaccination since my medical that I used for the K-1 was still valid-- and according to my RFE it looks like that was a problem, they still wanted the Civil Surgeon to do the medical portion as well.

*shrugs*

Just received my first ever honorary RFE-- not necessarily what I was hoping to see, but at least there's movement on my case. I was half-expecting this since my medical/vaccination record is now expired.

"The following evidence is required to establish your eligibility.

1. Your Form I-693 Report of Medical Examination and Vaccination Record has expired. Please have an authorized civil surgeon complete Form I-693, Report of Medical Examination and Vaccination Record with a revision date of 10/11/2011 or later. Form I-693 must be submitted in a sealed envelope. Civil Surgeon MUST complete BOTH the medical examination and vaccination portions of the form, even if you have entered with the K-1 non-immigrant visa.

2. Evidence of marital union such as tax returns, bank accounts, credit card statements, leases, mortgages, insurance policy statement, birth certificate of children, photos after marriage, etc."

Lovely. I'm assuming this means I need to take the entire medical again?

I'm very sorry that this has happened to you, hopefully you'll be able to get it sorted out quickly and the rest of this will go smoothly for you.

It's number 2 which bothers me most. It mainly all the info that you had to present for K1 and all the evidence for ROC, but not for AOS or at least if they were insuffiecient from K-1 you would be culled for early interview or at least and RFE months ago. Why not just interview you. They lost it all that is plain and simple...This sucks...

Hope you hear soon with no random rfe! Boils my blood when they do that because they are behind processing times. I think they should pay for medicals and I think they should have penalties and fines for it.

To be totally honest I am starting to wonder if any one at the USCIS has any compassion or a heart or are they just so unhappy with their jobs that they want to take their frustrations out on people filing for visas and GC's?

It's an agency full of tinmen (and tinwomen)...Singing, "...if I only had a heart..." They definately have not seen the Wizard yet...And by their speed of action they need that oil can as well...

When they were passing out hearts, they thought they heard "hard" and said I don't wanna do that...

Yes, I do remember who he is. With an Info pass appointment you can't make an appointment with one certain officer. Besides it was a total waste of a whole day and I will not ever do it again.
