Good morning Donna and Noelia,

I think it updates, to sent and then probably delivered as the EAD does. Not sure about tracking, probably. As for the time scale I've seen 8 days, but normally around 11 days or so after approval.

It's been 14 days without change from card ordered for production. Probably wait another year knowing USCIS. Not worried, we're not going anywhere soon and for financialo matters we can now say legal resident...just as long as it's still green when we get it...

That figures, it use to be around 8 days, then I think it was 11 or 12 days for Natonstan and now 14 days and counting! I think a snail could post a GC faster. I don't understand they press the approve button and then if its like my old work place you press a send button on a computer and it generates the card to be posted. I guess that's too much after pressing the approval button for them!

My wife just called me at work. She got a phone call from the number 816. Yup, just 816. She said it was USCIS, letting her know she did not need to attend the Biometrics appointment set for her today. They confirmed her approval and told her she would be receiving her 2 year GC in the mail in the next 2-3 days. They confirmed that Welcome Notice would come first and then GC. I have not received any status updates though. I did log in to USCIS website and status is still on Welcome Notice mailed.

What a complete waste of time. My case is still at the NBC. The officer and the senior officer had no idea how interview waiver cases are processed insuring they are adjudicated at the NBC.. I asked him to put an urgent transfer case on the file and process it there. He said that would make it take an extra year. I said that the Cincinnatti office processing times indicate they are processing cases from June 2014. He agreed. I said USCIS are committed to processing cases in the order received. He agreed. I said in that case id only have to wait a month for a local office interview. He agreed and told me to write a letter to the NBC requesting an interview. I said that the NBC won't do that and could he put an urgebt case transfer on it (Tier 2 told me they could do that). He said we can't do that.

As for my expedite, they sent it to the NBC. It's now jailed in Lees Summit.

Back to waiting.

What a bunch of crock!!! What a waste of time! Get on the phone and request tier 2. Tier 2 can open a service request to the NBC. I know this for a fact because the day my wife's case was finally moved was the day a service request was opened for the NBC.

Shaking my head, seems one doesn't know what the other is doing, So one says you can't write a letter and the other says you can, one says you can ask for an urgent case transfer the one says you can't. They like to work together as a team don't they!

You bought up an EXCELLENT point to them the USCIS are committed to processing cases in the order they are received. Shame you can't email both parties and ask them why one is saying you can ask for an urgent case review and one says you can't. Call them out and then see what they have to say!! I guess the problem here is training and updates. They need a reshuffle of the organisation ASAP!

Have you contacted the ombudsman yet? Natonstan did after 9 months of waiting even when he was not yet in processing times, took them just over 6 weeks to sort it out, worth a try since you have sent service requests and had an info pass. Might take 6 weeks but nothing will happen if you don't try! :(

Good morning everyone! Congratulations to everyone who got their approvals already!

Just wanna share my experience talking to a tier 2 today. I was calling to ask where my case is at right now and when he asked me what my receipt number was, i told him what it was and he said that im not the applicant registered on that receipt number. I told him that it was my receipt number and that I am the applicant. Then he just continued saying that Im not and that I should just schedule an appointment in my local field office because he is not comfortable talking to me because I am not the applicant for that receipt number. I was still trying to talk to him when he just kept interrupting me saying that I should just schedule an appointment to my local field office and just hunged up on me.

So I dont know what is going on because Ive called using that receipt number so many times already and never had a problem with it.

Good Morning all...another day...Green Day...we will see.

I'm so sorry Derwood, They just cant seem to get their act together can they? Sounds like all other government entities, right doesn't know that the left is doing. It's getting old. I'm starting to think about just getting the EAD and then apply for the AP (that they seemed to have lost) and just wait another 10 months for the 10 year GC. This is exhausting!
