Hi Shell, Thank you for your help, support and encouragement always. I'm so happy having you in this forum. Hope you have a good journey for your GC. USCIS needs to fix the workload problems! It's time.

Thank you! Yours will be coming, I believe!

Thank you, nlhernan, it's unbelievable for me as I thought they might need sometime to start looking on my case after the transfer to Ohio office. I'm 100% sure that this was because of my senator. Her office is very effective and responded quickly for my situation. Otherwise, my cases might be sleeping at NBC this time.

I wish everybody who are still waiting get your approval soon. It's really painful for this wait and more than enough for all of us but don't give up!. I'll still be here and happy to help as much as I can.

Awww thanks, but we are all in this together and we all give each other support and comfort.

As for my journey I have another 4 months ahead, can't wait!! Lol. Rolls her eyes! Please stay on the thread and help others with your knowledge and keep us company too!! :)

Removal of Conditions..  TICK TOCK, TICK TOCK

Time to reset the tick tock clock again.   Roll my eyes.

Hi everyone, I had a big rise and fall today. But the first thing that I'd like to share with you guys is that I finally got the approval, about 60 minutes ago.

On April 9, 2015, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number MSCXXXXXXXX, and will mail it to the address you gave us.

I had InfoPass interview this morning, talked to USCIS Tier 2 representative for my first time (as suggested by espared12, thank you!), and probably the last time regarding this application, and called the Ombudsman office afterwards. I did not expect this surprise, as none of the above endeavor gave me positive messages.

I'd like to share my experience today with you guys.

1. InfoPass interview. The conversation with the Immigration Officer lasted for about 7 minutes. When the officer learnt that I was there because of NPIW, she spontaneously said there are plenty of such cases without looking at my case details. She told me to wait for a few more months. I mentioned some inconvenience caused by this unexpected delay such as EAD/AP renewal etc, her response was 'but it is free of charge'. I had to add that I must ask for days off to get these things done. I also asked the whereabouts of my case, she said it is in a field office but does not know which one at first. Then I asked her to check in her system. She mentioned a name that I don't have a clue. Basically, she asked me to wait.

2. Tier 2 talk. I called USCIS and talked to Tier 1 representative first. He gave me the same status that I can see online, and asked me if I need him to create another SR. I thanked him and asked him to transfer to Tier 2 instead. Tier 2 representative called me back in one hour, but simply told me to wait, and that is the only thing that I can do.

3. Ombudsman call. I submitted the Ombudsman form on 03-17 and have not heard any updates except for the automatic response on the same day. A lady answered my call. She said no one is looking at my case atm. Their office will contact me when they start to talk to USCIS about my case.

I actually accepted the fact that I have to wait for a few more months and decided not to spend more time on the status. Several hours later, I received two text messages stating Your case MSCXXXXXXXX is now updated. Check "My case Status" at www.uscis.gov

USCIS seems to have started to work on 2014 March and April filers cases. I think people who are still waiting will receive their approvals very soon. Good luck!

WOW, what a day to remember. I wouldn't have believed it, but knowing USCIS, it's truer than actual life..CONGRATULATIONS!!! That is a story for the ages. You can pick one of the big stuffed animal from the top shelf (and a GC as well).

Enjoy guys...

Unfortunately it shows how useless an InfoPass is if your file is not there. I often wonder whether they ship NPIW cases that they know they will not interview to places other than there "home" FO so that they can keep us in the dark. I've read about multiple cases (like in Detroit) where cases were sent away to other FO's even though theirs seems to have a smaller workload. Makes me scratch my head...

Exactly. I also wonder if there is any transparency (e.g. sharing case status?) in those field offices and USCIS Tier 1/Tier2. According to my case, it is obvious that the Immigration Officer in the InfoPass interview and Tier 2 representative did not know what was going on.
