Quick question about calling USCIS and trying to get to a Tier 2 person?

I called for the first time this morning and was told by Tier 1 rep. that they could not give me the information because they needed authorization from my spouse that is was ok to discuss the application. Did anyone else run into this? So basically we have to be in the same room whenever I call.

Any thoughts?

when my husband called uscis ,I had to be around as I am the applicant ,he is the petitioner .But when myself called ,he didn't have to be around .So now it is myself calling every time .You can let your wife call by herself or you two have to be together to call

That figures so late in day, but in a way its good news as they are obviously dealing with your case!

You will have to call around to civil surgeons in your area and find out...Last I heard somewhere between 200.00-350.00.

Good luck with it! Hope you get useful info. Perhaps ask them what is the processing time for it and ask why are people being sent RFE's for medicals whilst others aren't? Although you don't want them sending you one. Ask them what constitutes a expedited request? How about asking what the OMBUDSMAN does if they intervene? How long ROC is currently taking and why some people get these useless waiver letters and others go for interviews.

I am sure are friends can add to this list! Look forward to hearing about your appointment ,I am sure Movin On has one tomorrow too!?!?

Maybe ask where the case is right now?

Do they have everything they need to approve?

Have them file a SR to the exact location where your case file is.

Why does the NPIW take longer than anyone else?

Just some ideas.

I can't wait to hear what they have to say!

I doubt it will be entire medical maybe just vaccines? My wife's medical had expired since January of this year.
