We're still sitting on "Welcome Notice Mailed". The date the letter says to expect it is in late September, which is after the current EAD/AP expires. It's only been 2 weeks, but I'm curious if anyone has actually waited that long to receive the GC.

We were approved on July 18th and received the Welcome letter in the mail on Jul 25, but we still do not have the green card. So tomorrow will be 3 weeks since approval with no green card. The welcome says that we should get the green card within 3 weeks. Our status still says welcome notice mailed to you 07/20/15. So I don't know what is going on.

Sweetswinks, do you have have your green card yet? I think you have the same exact date as us.

hey Movinon, I think you have to call uscis. I read somewhere in this thread after waiting for a while they called and then after that uscis send their card and gave them tracking number. do you have tracking number? if not, you have to call. it sounds like they forget to send the card after approving the case these days so you have to stay on top of them to send you the card.

Our weekend was JUST MADE!!! They received our RFE forms on Monday and look at what happened today!!!!

New Card Is Being Produced

On August 7, 2015, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number MSCXXXXXXXXXX, and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go towww.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

What is this welcome letter people are talking about? Is that before or after "card being produced"? Is there another update after this?

I waited about 3 weeks and finally I got my green card after I wrote an article on my blog and put it on Twitter and Facebook to DHS, USCIS, White House and Barack Obama. I did call first but they said that USCIS can't do anything about it since I've already been approved.

My status was changed to "Card Was Mailed" though I did not get any tracking number and just some code on my email. And I finally got my tracking number 3 hours AFTER I received my green card. It's a priority 3-day mail.

I called them first but the USCIS Tier-1 said that she can't do anything about that since I've already been approved and when I asked to transfer my call to Tier-2 she then refused by saying that it's only for people that their application still in processing.

I got this exact same email on July 18

Then I got another email on July 20 saying my Permanent resident status was registered and my welcome notice was mailed.

I am expecting the third email saying a card was mailed to me sometime this week or next.

Hi, how are you guys doing?

Been lurking around this thread and decided to post.

Congrats to everyone that have received their GC so far.

This is a very frustrating process and we still haven't got our approval yet after almost 14 months of being received.

You guys have been giving great information and we are not the only ones that are going through this.

Here is our timeline:

5/14/14 - Got married (She is an F1 student)

6/23/14 - File Received

7/13/14 - NOA

9/25/14 - NPIW letter

5/07/15 (Dated 5/13/15 Letter) - SR - still pending - "actively processing your application"

7/17/15 (Dated 7/27/15 Letter) - 2nd SR - outside of processing time frame since Dallas office is working on 7/30/15 - Nothing useful

8/04-15 - Contact Ombudsman - automatic reply

8/06/15 - Talked to Tier 2 - supposedly transferred to the Dallas Field Office on 4/17/15

Nothing have happen since - it's supposedly at the my local office, but they have it for almost 4 months now.

Should we schedule a infopass since it is at the local office?

We haven't renew our EAD/AP yet, but will on filed this Monday since it will expire in couple of weeks...sigh.
