Well I hope you spousal visa types don't mind, but the mods closed the fiance visa thread and told us to come here, so here we are. LOL I agree with ascertainLovE, it's likely that this will get shutdown too, but we'll see. The slowness at TSC is one thing, but you know, the wait will be what the wait will be. The issue is the time imbalance for the I-129F WRT the two service centers. That's what gets us really; if the wait was approximately equal, then there wouldn't be such a big fuss over it all. And the USCIS denies the imbalance, which only exacerbates the problem. Sigh. It is what it is I suppose.

For me personally, this has a significant impact because we have a little one on the way. I've long since given up on the idea of our son being born in TEXAS, like we both wanted. Now I'm simply hoping that we can get our NOA2 in time for the petition packet to make it through the NVC and to the embassy with enough time for her interview to be completed prior to the point at which I will need to return for work; with or without them. And that's why I've been doing everything I can during the past few months: I don't want to be forced into that scenario where I must leave them behind for an indeterminate amount of time until she can finally receive her visa. Through the CRBA process, our son will receive his citizenship straight away; supposedly the passport wait is only 2 or 3 weeks (TBS). It's her interview for the fiance visa that is the wildcard/unknown at this point. And I haven't even delved into the financial hardship that the delay has and will continue to place upon us. That too is what it is. I'm blessed to have decent enough employment such that I can meet those financial obligations, but we won't be doing much traveling for a while after that. LOL Not until the reserves are built back up.

Anyway, with every story there's difficulty and adversity. In that regard ours is no different than anyone else's I suppose. Still, it sucks.

I am sorry you are going through all this, it is terrible. You have a right to be upset. Just don't be too upset because you might upset someone here. I hope you get what you need soon.

Upset? Nah, it is what it is. When I rant/vent on VJ, it's merely a self-indulgence thing. I allow myself to do such venting/ranting, not that I need to. LOL

The hope is also that by relaying my experience others can find reassurance and comfort in that they aren't alone in what they are enduring.

But thanks just the same.

I feel for you. Our son is now 6 months old and has only spent 4 weeks with his father last November. Unfortunately, he was unable to be here for the birth but something is better than nothing. We're only 2.5 months into the wait at TSC and I'm trying to remain positive and hope for at least sometime this year to be reunited with my fiancé so that we can actually start living as a family.

On a more positive note our son's CRBA went very smoothly, we applied for his SSN and US passport at the same time too. His passport and CRBA came about 3 weeks after our appointment and I received his SSN about 5 weeks after that, sent directly from the US :)

Hi, we spent nearly 7 months at the TSC. And people at the CSC get through in 2 weeks... It's very disheartening.

Discuss.

Just totally illogical why USCIS allows this disparity to continue.

It should be balanced out so that perhaps both TSC and CSC

can process in 3 to 4 months.

ZA_35, heed my words, you made an incorrect statement on this thread, you said, "you can say what you want to here".,.,.,. that is very far from the truth!

If you insult someone, or demean someone in a disrespectful way, the Moderators, will drop a 7 day suspension on you "in a heart beat".,.,.,,. do not think you can just say anything, you want, to or about anyone.,.,,.,,.,YOU will see!

Just a word of advice, and "speaking from experience!"

Oh my it's 6 months for us. This is really not funny! Evrytime I see a approval closer to my date I jump up and down ... Yet it feels like were never getting there at this stage.

Hang in there, did you get any RFE's? Texas needs to pull their socks up. They are causing unnecessary delays for people.

I am on my 6 months; and on 3/10 my case was suspended waiting for snail mail to deliver RFE, before I can move forward.

Sorry to hear that. Have you replied to the RFE or still waiting to receive it?

Nopes no rfe at all! Sitting Ducks ?

It's disheartening when you see people FLY through the CSC in TWO WEEKS!

I know I can go on and on and people will come to tell me to stop moaning but I KNOW what you are going through and it sucks.

It's not fair and nees to be brought to the attention of USCIS.

Uhhhhhhhh....it has been, on many occasions. Hell I even raised the issue with the director of the entire USCIS, Mr. Leon Rodriguez via the phone conference Q&A a month or so ago. Outwardly (and to all federal representatives who inquire on behalf of their constituency) the USCIS denies that the problem of a processing time imbalance for the I-129F between the TSC and CSC even exists.

Oh ok. When people tell lies they need to presented with FACTS to counter their lies. I know some people here are collecting NOA1 and NOA2 confirmations from CSC filers who fly by quickly. Obviously not all CSC filers give a #### and won't be interested to help with the exercise.

It's my 8 months in TSC and I just received an "RFE" email last night. This is my second times that I received this. I have never heard about the case gets checklist for 2 times. They should request everything at once. OMG, I'm very sad and upset.
