Expedite at NVC granted

I was able to call NVC. As the beneficiary, the agent was helpful.

Was advised that the expedite was granted 1 week after the request was made.

And she said that it will be queued for a supervisor because it should have been sent to the embassy already.

i did try to ask if she can review the ds 261 online so that iv fee can be invoiced.she said that she can no longer touch the record since the expedite was granted.

Id like to ask if this is a normal case? And usually how long you can think it will reach NVC?

Their standard answer they give is there is no timeframe for how long it can take. My expedite was granted on March 6, but the ceac website says still at NVC, however when i call the consulate the directed me to go on usatravel docs and make my appointments which i was able to do with no problem.

That is so true. So i can just call The embassy now and schedule my appointment? There is no file to forward because we havent submitted anything to nvc

I am afraid i will mess things up since the lady at the embassy told me that they will email me for updates

And it pays to follow up. I guess the previous agent i spoke with gave me false hopes...

It was a conditional expedite. Send all forms and pay all fees...

It really good to call NVC
