How to know if you're in the SAVE-ASVI (to get social security number)?

The Social Security Number guide says:

If you go too soon your record of arrival will not be in the SAVE-ASVI system yet, and it will require manual verification from the USCIS.

How can we find out if we're in the system yet?

This is the arrival and departure records.

It is automatic now so you're on it a few hours after arrival.

Print off your arrival record and take this to the SS office along withy your ID and you can apply for a SS number.

Is it true that SAVE updates straight away as I arrived in the US on 10th March and that link above in SAVE is still saying my most recent entry was last year?
