When will the consulate contact me?

My case was sent to the Sydney consulate on the 24th of Feb according to the NVC letter we got. I haven't heard anything from the consulate yet, how long is it supposed to take?

I am getting worried.

Hi our case went March 10 I think and we already have an interview date. Have you called the NVC? Did you receive an interview letter?

I emailed the consulate yesterday and they replied in just over 24 hours.

NVC said they sent it off to the consulate on 24th of Feb. I have not heard anything since. When will I get something from the consulate?

I am getting worried, like they misplaced my case.

Have u checked the status on the ceac website? Mine says ready as our interview is in 3-4 weeks.

I don't know if the consulate ever contacted us. Did u get your interview and case complete letter?

Cardinal, the petitioner should get the email from the Sydney consulate, addressed to the beneficiary, if you are the beneficiary, have your fiance check their email account including junk folders. If you can't find it, try calling the NVC and request your case file number, then email the Sydney consulate with your case number (should start with SYD) and ask them for a status update. But yes, you should have heard by now.
