Urgent Question about Birth Certificate

I want to file I-130 for my parents but my birth certificate says the child of Mr and Mrs Smith (last name only). Will this be a problem since both my mom's and dad's full names were not listed.

1. Check if the local authorities can update the records based on the evidence you provide.

2. If that is not an option, you need to provide 2 affidavits of birth from the people who are aware of your birth (not including your parents). This is called secondary evidence.

Thanks for your response. Just found out they could provide me with a new birth certificate containing the full names of my parents. Do I submit the new and the old BCs explaining the reason for the recent BC? and do I still need the affidavit?
