Not until

1) They find her passport.

2) I get an F U letter from the Embassy.

Contact your senator office, they do a good job .

They can find what happen in your case.

Belive me, you dont need move here until you find what going on. Senator office can find that with an e-mail to the embassy.

Or just come here and go to the embassy in person, you have the right to go to american embassy without appoinment and find what happenned.

I'm so sorry this is happening to you and that your fiancée is being hassled.

I think it's too early to give up. Contact your representatives. Make an info pass appt at your nearest embassy, go to the embassy there. Don't give up. Keep fighting and be persistent until you get answers.

This is not the time to move if you prefer to stay here. You have other options.

Follow Darnell's suggestions to a t and step by step exactly as outlined. You will then see your issue resolved.

I have no hope for a Visa anymore. There is tons of fraud in this country regarding immigration and the people who try and get things done legally are the ones that get screwed in the end.

Hopefully getting my work papers in the Dominican Republic is an easier process. If not, then I guess I'll just live off my savings for the next 10 years or so.

It's unbelievable that there is no record of my case. The UID, Passport number, nothing works. Always not found and there isn't a person to talk to for help. How can a case be lost like that?

I have to be the first person in this situation - I've seen nothing like it. It's like I never filed anything. I can even schedule another interview if I feel like it on ustraveldocs. #######?

They have her damned passport too or else i would schedule another interview to get in the building and raise hell.

unfuckingbelievable.

At ustravelsdocs.com dont have record of passport because the consulate hasnt sent the passport yet.

You need contact with the embassy, one way easy and quick to contact the embassy is through the senator office.

You arent listening the advises here, Danell has tolld you what to do.

While you be asking on ustravelsdocs.com , you arent going to get answer, because they dont have the passport.

The passport is at the embassy.

Embassy and ustraveldocs.com are two things deferents.

As american you can go to the embassyvany time you want, if you want go to the embassy you dont need appoinment, you have the right to go all time you want.

So you can come to DR and go to the embassy in person and ask what is happening.

But you r senator office can find what going on.

Sorry, but you arent follows the advises here, contact your senator office and you will get good reponses.

Ilovemyman, I understand that and will go that route after some time has passed. It's been only about 30 days - I don't think anyone will help with so little time that has passed.

My biggest problem is the fact that:

1) I've done my interview and was approved.

2) CEAC and Traveldocs does NOT reflect I had an interview. I can *schedule* VAC and Embassy appointments still - HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?

3) UID number and Passport numbers are quickly rejected and I am prompted to "correct" my numbers on the operator.

Something is VERY wrong with my case. And with so little time passing, I don't think anyone will do anything but say wait...

Posted (edited)

a member here was waiting like you after approved, she is dominican.

She was waiting and nothing happened.

Then after 2 weeks waiting her fiance contacted his senator office, the senator office contacted the embassy and they got reponses.

The co forgot put her sign a form, so after that she got a call from embassy telling her that she needed go to embassy to sign a paper. She went and in a few days she got her visa.

If her fiance hasnt contacted the senator office in 2 weeks of waiting, maybe she was waiting still.

It doesnt matter the waiting time, you can contact your senator office and ask for help.

All you need to do is tell them that you want help because

You want to know the status of your case.

If you want a good reponse contact your senator office.

Belive me a have a year in ap, and i have learned a lot from orhers cases.

One thing a have learned is that at the embassy they arent ordered, they are so irresponsible.

And when they forget do something they let the cases to the time.

If you arent over on your case they dont care.

Best way to contact tge embassy is the senator office.

Do rhat and you will get reponse quick about what is going on.

Have you attempted any of the advice offered here? Nobody can help you if you won't help yourself.

What's your case say on the ceac site?

I am a very stubborn person. If I have to contact a congressman, I won't. Just because I shouldn't have to.

The CEAC site says "Ready for Interview" and is dated in December.

USTraveldocs is back to the beginning and asking me to schedule VAC and Appointment date - I've already been approved and did my interview. Everything errors out if I try to do anything.

Someone royally screwed up the case, or their IT people need to be fired.

Do you peefer move to DR instead of contact your senator office?

It is more complicate move to DR that contact your senator office, i have told a person from DR contacted his senator office after 2 weeks aiting and he found what was going on his case.

But you prefer do the thing in the hard way.

Be stubborn dont help in nothing,

I am a very stubborn person. If I have to contact a congressman, I won't. Just because I shouldn't have to.

Ok I have one major suggestion to make before you move to DR unnecessarily and although you are stubborn you should consider this: get your senator/congressman involved. Exactly what has already been said. I've just gone through this, my fiancé had his interview 3/3 and was approved and I could not understand why I couldn't track his passport and why he didn't get his visa just as quickly as everyone else. ILoveMyMan told me to get my congressman involved and not to wait and because of her advice my congressman wrote me back yesterday and said that the embassy "emailed me that they just needed his birth certificate". Which they NEVER emailed me and said, and calling USTRAVELDOCS was a waste because they didn't know sh**! Now my fiancé will bring the birth certificate on Thursday and hopefully next week he will get the visa. My congressman wants us to email her once he delivers the birth certificate so she can let the embassy know it's been delivered. She also was extremely apologetic because she knows it's been a long journey for us and originally she told me to email her after 60 days which would have really delayed things. I am happy I pushed back after only waiting 3 weeks and my fiancé will be here hopefully next week!

The total amount of days from the date I mailed in our K1 Visa application to the day my fiancé stepped foot into the USA:

1 year, 3 months and 8 days.

The amount of days from the date we mailed in our AOS to the date everything was approved (after 3 RFEs):

7 months & 5 days

Which makes our journey a total of:

2 years, 3 months, and 8 days

(L)"I remember the days I prayed for everything I have now." (L)
