Lol. For the righteous indignation while concealing the pertinent facts - the wage increases to $11 on April 1 for all but one of the four categories, which is going to be $10.

So yeah, let's pretend that the wage isn't actually increasing and there are no closures from increasing costs.

I despise the republicans. I despise the democrats. I'm called left, and I am called right, depending on whose war I am against, which is all of them during my lifetime. I do hourly work and I do contracting work as an owner. I hate class politics and neither one of them is better or worse than the other.

Congratulations on such a fact free and baseless 'Rah rah sis boom bah, workers suck! Up with management/owners thread!'

The minimum wage DOES NOT jump to $15 per hour April 1, 2015, the three year crawl, for franchise and very large companies employing 500 or more workers [jeez, doesn't sound like the local mom and pop restaurant 'cause it isn't] START the slow multi-year climb to $15 per hour. Any business quitting this month was failing to begin with, not making a sound business decision in light of LWN/Commie push to extort the true earners and 'job creators' of the economy the ownership class.

A quick google search could easily reveal this story is blowing up, in the RWN blog-osphere, which fortunately isn't the same thing as the actual real world. Carry on gentlemen! :reading:

Everyone living in the real world knows all this already, of course. Those RWNJs that haven't got a clue on what's happening in the real world won't get it. Ever. They're so consumed with their RWNJ blog sphere bullshite that they simply can't see a damn thing clearly anymore. You're really wasting your time on them.

Here's the rundown. Of the seven restaurants specifically mentioned in Seattle Magazine's March 4 post, one was reported by its owner to be located in the wrong neighborhood for its particular mix of bar space and atmosphere. Another is being offloaded by an owner who has three other restaurants in the city and is opening two more. (A neighboring restaurant is expanding into its space.) A third turned out to be too big for the clientele at its location. Three aren't closing at all, but are getting new chefs because their old boss is moving to Spain to join his partner.

So what we have here is a lot of outrage and hot air about nothing at all. That'd be business as usual in the right wing blog sphere.

Anyone surprised? I am most certainly not. Almost feel sorry for the stupid fools that fall for this fake ####### time and again. Almost.

I believe the left needs to start trying to unionize the tech industry if they really plan to keep this law.

I wonder how much those machines cost to manufacturer, install and maintain? Also what is the point of subsidizing dead end jobs that don't even afford workers any kind of life?

Do they not have a illegal aliens all up there like we do in the South.

Where they stand on corners waiting for work?

All they need to do up there is pay them cash $10 per hour or if they want the write off get them a ITIN number and pay them check

Easy solution
