Hello again ,

It is been 1 week and 6 months as we have been waiting for our NOA2 and hoping we will get it soon ( in couple of weeks). VJ Timeline says End August is getting approved from Texas. So we started to prepare all financial paper works like filling out i-134, W2 ,1040 and Employment Letter. The question is he worked overseas for last couple years and recently changed his Job, now he is in US. And Pay stubs he is going to get will be different than what is on W2 and 1040? Would it be problem?

Hello Gulya,

I don't think this should be so much of a problem. Many times a company will issue payroll in a different, but related, company name or that company can change names if there was a restructure or merger. So, this sort of thing is common in the payroll world.

Doesn't the affidavit of support list the different jobs held? If not, then perhaps you can fill out a new biographics form that reflects the job change so the officer will have something familiar to look at and compare with the different company names. You can also include a statement from the US petitioner that they changed jobs, from first company to second company on which dates to help the embassy officer tie the job transition down and make their decision easier.

I hope this helps!

has he filed 2014 income tax return, or no?

remember - it's tax data (prior years) and current annual income (for 2015)

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

No, not a problem. People often change jobs, get promotions, etc. W-2s and tax returns often do not match current pay. If your fiance has already filed taxes for 2014, it would be good for him to now provide you the 2014 tax return transcript (available from the IRS website) and his W-2.
