Hi, well as you can guess form teh title of this topic, I have my interview in less than a month. I noticed that in packet 4 it says that ALL documents can be copies but I also need the origional documents. This is fine in most cases BUT we are using a co-sponsor and they didnt want us to have their origional documents of shares and thing like that. they sent photo copies of their evidence of support with an notarized copy of the I-134 Affidavit of Support. will this be ok or do we need all the supporting evidence to be origionals too?

Thanks for your help :)

Claudeth was required to have the original, notarized I=134 when she went to her interview in Manila.

I have the origional notarized I-134 but our co-sponsor understandably doesnt want to send their origional deeds to his house or origional life insurence policy or anything like that. the I-134 we have is origional and notarized. The supporting evidence we have is photo copies. Is this ok?

Well if the instructions state to have the originals on hand as well as copies and if the co-sponsor is ardament they are not sending originals there is not much you can do about it. Perhaps get the co-sponsor to have the copies notorized and cross your fingers. Just a suggestion. Perhaps someone else has had some experience in this.

I would call the embassy..and verify.

I never had to provide orginal of anything for my friend I co- sponsered for.

I provided COPIES of tax information for my friend.

I think I gave an orginal pay statement.

and I think orginal letter of employment.

I never provided orginals of deeds or insurance polices..

My brother co sponsered us. He had to have the original form. We submitted an original letter of employment. He also gave me copies of his tax returns for three years with copies of the W2s. That is what we submitted and the embassy accepted them.

My brother gave me his tax returns and I unstapled them and made photo copies of them at home on my copier. Good luck  and been long time since we chatted.
