In the old man's defense, if he got punched, it would be bad for him. He did the best that he could. And I am some of the people who interfered didn't want the girls to turn around and try to attack them.

I wonder why the employees didn't call the police.

The video does not show the whole story. Sure the girl that did the kicking to the head when the girl was "out" should be charged with a serious assault charge.

However…it is hard to tell ,but the girl that got knocked out seemed to be actively trying to assault the one girl. It appeared she was the one going on the offense. She may have started it and the others were hitting her to defend their friend.

I have no idea since the video did not show how the fight started. Could be the girl deserved it.Could also be a factor why most did not do much to help this girl out.

That goes without saying, he was unrepentant in his homophobia, but he also never missed an opportunity to parley a story of black folks behaving badly to essentially state his opinion that said story proved that blacks folks were inherently prone to bad behavior.

I've seen that from a few vj posters over the years - people who point out social problems affecting minorities in the USA and then reference corruption and violence I'm African nations as if some salient point can be drawn from no other similarity than that both situations involve black people.

It's blatant racism.

Cops told the New York Times that the girl, only identified as 15-years-old, was taken to Kings County Hospital and was later released with non-life-threatening injuries. The teens are apparently students at Erasmus Hall High School in Flatbush, and had all met there "with the intention of fighting."

Ferguson is among a group of girls seen in the clip beating a lone victim. Toward the end of the nearly three minutes of fighting, she kicks the girl lying on the floor of the McDonald's in the head.

According to the New York Daily News, Ferguson has been arrested by police six times since turning 16 last July—her own grandmother took out an order of protection against her after she allegedly punched her in the face. Cops arrested her in February of this year for allegedly trying to stab her brother.

"I'm her mother and I'm not defending her," Ferguson's mother told the paper. "I didn't raise her like this. I don't know why she did it."

Ferguson, CBS New York reports, has been charged as an adult by police with robbery and gang assault; cops also told the station that they are "confident that many more arrests are on the way."

that's how it was when i was younger. and unfortunately i've got first hand knowledge that 13-14 year old girls are still planning out fights, where to meet, etc - the only difference now is that everyone records it on their cellphones.

when i was in middleschool there was a fight every other day it seemed, and more often than not - it was girls.

that's why mean girls is actually a good movie to watch with your tween, if ya got one. it's a funny movie and all but at the heart of it is a very real truth about young girls and what our culture can turn them into.
