Ok long story short...USCIS rec'd our application for AOS/EAD in May. Ead rec'd in July...AOS Interview in September. At the interview they told my husband they could not approve him on the spot becuase THEY lost his medical and needed him to submut another before they could proceed. The interviewer gave us the impression that once this info was rec'd Green Card would be approved and mailed to him. Well it's February now and the only response we're getting is case still pending. I could be wrong but I thought once you had your interview the wait for the card wouldn't be much longer. They tell us to go by the processing dates now is this the date of the application received or the interview date. I know each case it different but can someone give us some insight. Is this normal procedure??

Thanks,

Under the circumstances, if you responded to the request for the medical and re-submitted it, and haven't heard anything yet, I would make an infopass appointment and see if someone can tell you exactly what the delay is about. Good luck.
