The above mentioned is not correct, NVC started processing my case again last month, when I sent in my document and called to confirm it was delivered, the rep repeated more than once that as soon as my case is completed, my interview would be scheduled, going by the current trend in the visa bulletin, are you saying September 24th 2013 priority dates and later would be current in 8 to 12 months when from the last person that received IV, I am 25 days away from being current? Remember visa allocation has been barely used for this FY, after the retrogresdion we have not seen any jump, although am hoping it goes slow and steady and not jump because huge jumps have been observed to be a major cause of retrogression. Let's keep hope alive.

yes you r right and I did call to NVC they told me my PD become current very soon

I do not understand what is not correct. I am not saying that, Charlie Oppenheim said it some months ago. I have just quoted him.

I am wondering why, since your PD would have become current, they didn't send you the fees 8-12 months ago, but only a month ago. I am not saying your PD will not become current, but that the timing, according to what has been said before, is odd. Why would he have said "The NVC is now sending out Fee Bills 8-12 months in advance of the expected priority date becoming current. Previously, the NVC had been sending out the Fee Bills 12-18 months in advance." if that is not true?

Obviously I want the VB to move as much as possible because I am waiting as well. However, I noticed that here in this forum there is a sort of confirmation bias going on: we pray god, listen/read to every single stupid news about our category, we try to infer anything from any little word or believe to what a friend of a cousin of a friend's friend said [spoiler alert: I am exaggerating], as long as it says that the VB will advance as much as we hope. However, where there is something official like this, we do like the ostrich and we put our heads into the sand not to hear something that goes against our hopes.

Also, I really don't think they said "As soon as your case is completed, your interview would be scheduled". Your interview is schedule when your PD will become current a month later, not when the case is completed. I am pretty sure that what they said was, as they say to everybody, "As soon as your PD become current, your interview would be scheduled".

What is your pd nd when nvc sent you welcome letter it's means your pd close to current soon. If you don't believe please visit nvc official website

The word "soon" may mean hours, days, weeks, months, years. It is not quantifiable. Only Charlie Oppenheim quantified it a few months ago into 8-12 months. With the welcome letter you receive the fees. He said that the fees are sent 8-12 months before the PD becomes current.

Not 8-12months my friend they change in 2013. Nvc content you when your pd Close to current means current in 2 or 3 months. I knew what you talking about but in August 2013 to May2014 vb didn't move that's nd visa limitation thats why some people didn't get visa but they case was completed last year. Now nvc sent email for further processing bczz nvc don't want to visa will be weast as every year.

His predictions are not what is happening as you can see, he meant my case would be current by the time my case would be completed, I focus on Visa Journey timelines not predictions, NVC is currently processing cases below 60days but each time they stick to 60days. We are hoping for the best. NVC Is not sending out fee notice 8 to 12 months before, I even asked others in F2B, some even confirmed their case is current and they are still waiting for fees bills to be invoiced. What is written or predicted is not what it always is. Remember cutoff dates for F2A for Rest of the world was pegged at 3 to 4 weeks, did we not witness movement of about 6 weeks, I really hope for the very best. I even wish I had a case complete by now if they had started earlier, my priority date is about to be current.

I don't understand if visas are available in the coming months why they dont let the cut-off day move faster like 2-3 months per month instead of 3-4 weeks.

Indeed what I am saying is not "This is what is going to happen", but something I am a little afraid about. If the VB now was at, let's say, Sept 21 2103, I would have not had the same fear because the "stagnation" date (Sept 8, 2013) would have been passed. But it is not.

I think as well we will pass it with no problems in June, but it is something to take into consideration. It is like when you come to the US with a visa: when you are at the immigration gate at the airport, after hours of flight, you should not have problems getting in. However, everybody always has that little fear. Once that's passed, everything is alright.

I really do not understand their processes, interview scheduling just started, let's hope early September fliers would get interview dates for May this week before we conclude on the next VB.
