Is a Mailbox pick up FASTER or VAC PICKUP!

Guys please share your experience regarding the time it took you from the interview approval to the pick up of your visa at a mailbox or the VAC. I have limited days available to be out from work and I would like to choose carefully where I would like to pick up the passport. I guess I'm over thinking and worrying too much, but I would like to return to the US with my husband.

Our interview was on February 23, 2015, received email on Feb. 26 & 28 saying that passport had left the U.S. Embassy and it's on its way to the selected location, tracked passport on VAC which it stated ready for pick up on Saturday, February 28. My husband had passport on his hands next day, Sunday March 1st, 6 days after interview. We chose MegaCentro which is opened on Sundays.

I had my interview on March 17th, since then it said on ustraveldocs that my passport was at the embassy. It just changed to being processed for shipping. I'm hoping that means were close to getting it?! Anyone with similar messages?

All depend, if your case doesnt go to ap.

Here there are people who had their interview early on march and havent gottten the passport.

My cousin's husbabd went to his interview on february 24 abd his got passpirt on march 18.

If you you are lucky you can get it soon , but if no you need wait. More time.
