As part of the pre-interview process for CR-1 visa, we read the interview letter appointment letter and instructions on the interview letter said to make an appointment online thru website for biometrics for my spouse. After my spouse logged in to make an appointment, the instructions on the website said to bring affidavit of support (I-864, tax returns, employment letter and paystubs) to biometric appointment. Is that true?

I wonder what documents applicants brought to the biometric appointment.

Thanks!

well we just had to carry original passport, two photographs(2X2 in), appointment letters ( VAC and P4) and DS230 confirmation page. This is the first time I heard about a request for the documents you mentioned. But may be Delhi consulate has different rules.

DS 260 typo.

Thanks. we figured out.. There was an error on visa type as it showed K1 or K3 visa instead of CR1. That's why it mentioned that AOS was required to be brought to biometrics (to deliver to US embassy). That's really new to me, but we managed to correct the visa type to CR1 so AOS is not on the list of requirement. Yep, DS-260 confirmation page, passport and VAC appointment confirmation page are on the list. Thank you. :)
