Our visa journey started at the beginning of September 2014. Today, 11th March, I had my interview at the U.S. Embassy in London. I'm approved! 7 months from start to finish, including an approved expedite request.

I'm so happy and excited! This site has been such a great information resource throughout so if I can give back a little by answering a few questions I will try my best!

Congratulations!

Congratulations! On what bases did you file an expedite?

I had an opportunity to transfer internationally with my employer, but they needed me to start in Boston on April 6th. My expedite request was accompanied by a letter from my line manager saying this was the case. I asked to be expedited based on potential financial loss for both me and my employer.
