Expedite approved; no email? Long intake process?

I emailed an expedite request before we got a case number. The request was approved 2/23, two days after we got a case #. Every time I call, the agent tells me that once they've completed the intake process, they'll send it to our embassy. How long does the intake process take?? The only documents they have are our I-130 package and it's been almost nearly 3 weeks. Since we got a case #.

Additionally, has anyone else been approved for an expedite but hasn't received an email or letter? I'm wary because twice when I called NVC, the agents said that the expedite was approved on the condition that documents be reviewed at NVC first. I was able to talk to a supervisor and she said that those agents were mistaken--all the documents will be reviewed at the embassy-- but I still want to see this in writing!

Thanks I'd appreciate it if anyone with similar experience can shed some light on this!

I was approved for expidite and never received any letter, e NVC are never gonna send your paperwork to embassy until they complete every process it will take.

I was approved for expedite and it took the NVC 2 months to complete the process and send it directly to embassy.

NVC will not scheduled interview date for you, once you receive a notice that ur document is ready at the embassy, you can chose any available date you want for your interview. (That is where your expedite come to effect) good luck

Brown007 thanks for your reply. What do you mean by, "until they complete every process"? Do you mean processing and approving the AOS and IV packages?
