Sorry, but the U.S. Government has no business using taxpayers money to subsidize a television network.

When PBS was created during the Lyndon Johnson administration there were only three TV networks - ABC, NBC, CBS.

It was created amidst the '60s LIBERAL revolution. By being created and subsidized by the LIBERAL DEMOCRATS it was

always "left leaning" in it's programming (not the kids programs) and depended upon the continued funding by the

Democrats who were "in charge" of Congress for 40 years (up until 1994).

Do you have the same disdain for the subsidizing corporations?

Oh there is a lot more to PBS than S.S. They are so tilted to the left it's a wonder they don't fall over. I don't want my tax dollars to fund it. You may not believe this but I have supported PBS. There were several shows that I liked and I ponied up $50 for several years to keep it on. When they took my show off I stopped giving. That is the way it should be.

Nova and Frontline just to name a few. Anything they do has a left slant to it. You don't see that because you live in the left. To you it looks normal and as it should be.

Frontline is investigative journalism and while it may slant to the left, there is something called journalistic integrity. Find me a source that has ever shown factual inaccuracies in Frontline's reporting.
