Hello,

One of my cousins is a US citizen has a applied for his wife in Pakistan. The case is with NVC at the moment but his wife is expecting and would have the baby before the interview.

Does this complicate the application? Will there be a new application needed for the baby? Should he inform NVC now that this is the case?

Please let me know if anyone has any experience with this. Thanks.

This is misleading. The parent files a CRBA in order to be able to receive a US Passport for their child. None of it is automatic. It is a separate application.
