It is not usual nor is the I-864 meant to be used for K visas. It is only meant for Adjustment of status or those applying for an immigrant visa. However there has been the odd member who has reported either the I-864 being the requested form from consulate or a choice of either the I-134 or I-864 being given. Perhaps giving the Embassy a call to double check just in case an error has been made would be the way to go.
