Guangzhou K1 P3 package

hi guys

I did receive the P3 letter. I filled out the DS160 form online. As requested by the letter, i send back the DS 160 confirmation page, 2 photo and copy of passport in December 2014. It has been 3 months, i still haven't hear back from the Guangzhou Embassy for P4? is it normal?

Also, I was reading some infor online. it seems p3 package should include form DS230. I am not sure if the embassy send me the correct P3???

you not write of:

1. pay visa fee at citic bank or

2. register account at ustraveldocs.com/cn

as to ds-230, no, it's not needed.

IMO - if you pay the visa fee at CITIC bank,

then you can self-schedule over at ustraveldocs.com/cn

Thanks for the quick comment. the confusing part is that there is no mention about the visa fee or registering account at ustraveldocs.com/cn.

So i was really questioning if the embassy send me the correct letter. What happened was on the date they send me fiance the package. They call her and told her that the form was incorrect and they will send another package. However, 3 days later, we received the second package, which has the exact same form as the first one. Nevertheless, we filled out the form DS 160 and send the doc as the letter indicated.

Now, it has been almost 3 months. we have not heard back any thing from them. They don't response any visa related call nor emails. I have no way to figure out what is wrong.

fwiw - that p3 doc you posted is only 2.4 kilobytes in size, is a thumbnail.

can redact it, post it up somewhere, then use an img tag to show it?

ustraveldocs.com is listed at the bottom of that document - i just assume you guys not visit the page.

really, to get going:

1. pay the visa fee at citic bank and

2. set up account at ustraveldocs.com/cn - noting the fee payment, and then you are allowed to self-schedule.

as to 'problems' with the doc you have - sorry, no comment about it.

It sat for 3 months because DS-160 fee wasn't paid.

Your application will go no where until...

1. you print copy of the DS-160 confirmation page

2. take it to the CITIC bank and pay

3. Save the receipt number they give you at the CITIC bank

4. Normally, the system should update with the receipt number,

but if it doesn't you may have to manually enter it in...

though I've not seen folks having to do that yet.

Once you do this, they will email her the P4 with instructions to

setup medical exam and interview in within about 2 weeks.

You need to update the timeline and visit back to VJ site more often.

So happy I decided to read about about the P3 process in GUZ, I've sent my P3 back to consulate a couple of days ago, so I could of waited for nothing. I'll try to pay fee tomorrow then and see what will happen

Would the Guangzhou Consulate(GUZ) really hold up the P4, waiting for payment fees to CITIC?

After reading so many posts... I gather there are 2 versions of the P3. One is new and one is old. The new one just needs the DS160+pay fees and receipt number. P4 will be sent out thereafter. You need do medical and prepare all P3 listed docs to interview.. New version is way simpler as yo uwill be using ustraveldocs to schedule interview. No need mail abythingback.

Correct me if I am wrong. I have the 2 versions.. but how to attach it here to share??
