I don't believe G put it very artfully and Lost never really tries to hide his overt racism, however I do think that both make the same point, one in artfully and one overtly racist.

The deceased caused the problems that ultimately left him deceased. Perhaps in time he might have changed his ways but in the here and now he was a menace to society and his end came during yet another series of bad choices he made. I have no sympathy for the deceased and I hope that the police officer gets through the trauma of this event.

No racism. Just no sympathy either.

The judge only gave this fellow a slap on the wrist for armed robbery and home invasion . ... Gave him that Pass... was it because he was eliminating racial bias during the sentencing process. No white folks were arrested for armed robbery and home invasion that week ... It would show racial bias to have him behind bars for 10 years. So out on the streets he goes to assault more hard working folks .

Guys, according to the article, which is all I know, this guy literally just assaulted someone which is why the police were called. The police officer claims he was assaulted and then defended himself with his weapon. Based on an probable assault on another person that same night, I'm inclined to believe the officer.

IMO, a person that attacks a police officer or someone with a gun for that matter is risking their life. Right or wrong, that's how it is. I wouldn't do it.

One, maybe two people called the cops. Cop followed him, alone, thought he heard a disturbance (?), kicked down the door, some sort of scuffle (Kenny may or may not have been injured), and Robinson was shot 5 times in the chest. No weapon of any kind was found. Nothing.

Do you seriously sit in the bunker and believe Holder gets involved in every charging and sentencing decision involving a black suspect? There are quite a few factors beyond race, first offense, not the strongest evidence, turning States evidence that helped convict the most co-defendants or the ring leader, and the list goes on. I'm highly skeptical Holder had anything to do with this guy getting the home invasion sentence he got and equally doubtful it was a 'liberal judge' trying to make sure that racial bias was being eliminated.

Someone needs to teach these kids some respect for others. It's a shame they did not learn it at home and keep getting killed for being stupid

Koval said the first officer responded around 6:30 p.m. to call of a man dodging in and out of traffic.

?“Before we arrived, the call was updated by another complaintant who indicated that this same subject was responsible for a battery,” Koval said.

The chief says the officer went to the apartment he thought the man had gone into, where he thought he heard a disturbance and forced entry to the apartment.

“This same subject then assaulted my officer and in the context of mutual combat, the officer did draw his revolver and subsequently shot the subject,” Koval said

His death was probably an inevitable outcome of the situation. As it occurred, I don't think it could have been avoided. It's still disgusting that there are people who celebrate this kind of outcome.

although i do feel a bit better now, it seems the youth know what's up. thank goodness, i was starting to think everyone had lost their minds in thinking cops are a class above the rest of us, like it's their actual job description to be judge, jury, and executioner.

I have always thought cops were best avoided. Blame it on my rebellious youth, when I thought cops were like parents with guns. Even the times I have dealt with them on a non-confrontational basis, even in a mutually supportive role, I was still "uncomfortable".

However, I don't understand this new "lone ranger" cop mentality. Most of the law enforcement members I observe would never chase a suspect into a building without back-up, sometimes ridiculous amounts of back-up. If we take the cop at his word, he allowed a situation to escalate beyond that which he could control without the use of deadly force. That is the reality, and he probably will not even receive a reprimand for being an idiot.

You guys are speculating. You're erring on the side of the kid. Which is fine. I wouldn't err on the side of a teenager with a record against a cop's word ever. Regardless of the race of anyone involved. Kids are reckless and dumb, in all races.

It all hinges on whether the officer had a right to enter the apartment. I can't tell from what I've read. If the cop bent the rules by making up the disturbance inside the apartment then Tony had every right to defend himself from the cop (who would be the attacker).
