Yes they check you in and give you seat assignments. They are really strict about baggage weight though, we have to re-arrange all of our bags several times, lol. There is no immigration or customs to go through at the airport, just security. You go through customs in Chicago. You should also call 3 days before to confirm your flight. Hmm...my fiances cousin and his wife both work for RJ, I wonder if they can help you get good seat assignments. I'll ask him!

So you can go a day early, leave your bags and then do you get seat assignments? Then just need to get to the airport and go thru immig and customs? If so, that is a definate improvement to my last trips.

My 2nd trip in 2003, I was at the airport 2 hours early. I was one of the last 7 people in line and when I got nearer they announced that the plane was full. :blink: These were my choices, stay in a hotel in Amman for 2 nights and fly out Monday. or....fly that day to NY, stay in a hotel and then on to Chicago. no thanks, nothing against NY, but I had enough vacation. or......take $150.00 and come back in 2 days. :thumbs: I went to the fastlink booth and they were so nice to call Mohammed's cell for me and tell him to come back and pick up his wife.
