Happy Friday  True day off, no work, no measures, no phone calls.

I am seriously considering going to a dr for my foot. It's been a week and it is still sore. When I move in my sleep, the pain wakes me from the blanket touching it. I can walk on it tho that's why I haven't went to the Dr. sooner. Do I go to a family dr or a general pratctioner? I have good insurance, just not sure who to call.

Congrats Henia on your citizenship! My husbands cousin just took his oath recently.

jackie. i'd go to an orthopedist. i broke my foot last year and went to the ER. they shooed me out of there making me feel like i was dumb to go in there.

now a year later, i STILL have pain and started walking wrong to compensate. and now i have all sorts of problems with my hip now. i finally went to a physical therapist and i have to go three times a week for a few months (minimum) until i am better! so yeah, take care of it now before you end up possibly having complications like me. good luck!

JP, i watched it too. i'm an oc fan (thats where im from and i like to laugh at it. especially the episode last night about newport women. is sooooo freaking true! barf)

the earthquake thing was seriously stupid. i've been disappointed with this entire season. :*(

Ok, I did it. I called a doctor and will go this afternoon to have him look at my foot/ankle. First one I called said next Wednesday. I'm like, well it hurts now. So I am going to Quick Care and it is covered by my insurance. Did I mention I hate going to the doctor?

The OC went downhill when they killed Marissa, it hasn't been the same since then. I'm glad its gonna be over. I wish American networks would do the same as Spanish networks. I hate it when a show drags on for 10 seasons, its nice when a series lasts for a 3-4 months and you get some closure on it.

Jackie, since you have not gone to the Dr. yet it's time for me to share my story. My mom sprained her ankle a long time ago, the doctor doesn't even know when. She never went to the doctor and it never healed properly. She has always had pain in her foot and it has gotten worse over the years. After seeing 3 specialists they determined she has a dead bone in her foot from a strain that happened many years ago. She needs to have surgery to replace the bone but that will put her in a cast for 6 months. She hasn't done it yet...but GO SEE A DOCTOR!

My new right shoe for a few weeks....

Picture015.jpg

This contraption has GOT to be expensive. It's ugly and heavy and I have to walk slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. It's a sprain that tore a piece of bone away from where it was supposed to be. So, I wear this in the day and an ace bandage at night to sleep. Take Aleve and come back next week.

Awww Jackie Im sorry! (F) I feel your pain, I wore one of those for 12 weeks when I broke my foot a few years back. The good thing is you don't have to sleep in it. I'm glad you went to the doctor! :luv:

Everytime the date changes you have been touched. Basically anytime they do something with your file.
