Hi there, pls. help me for below query:

1. I was wondering if both the petitioner and joint sponsor have to both meet the income requirements in order to have my wife obtain her AOS?

2. I was wondering if me (petitioner) does not meet the income requirements, do we need to have 2 separate joint sponsors that meet the income requirements?

1. Petitioner doesn't have to meet income requirements, can make even ZERO, that's why you need joint sponsors.

2. Only one needed if he/she makes enough.

1. If the USC petitioner/sponsor meets the income requirement, then there would be no need to use a joint sponsor.

2. You cannot use more than one joint sponsor when only sponsoring one immigrant.
