Over here you have to wait 3 months to get refund.

There was a time when that was more common, but since they started doing efiling, 90% get theirs within 21 days. I think if they didn't put that down, there wouldn't be an expectation that it should be quick.

I'm expecting another 4 weeks, at least. I suspect it has to do with the education credits.

So I'm watching Exile Nation: The Plastic People on Netflix and they are trying to make sob stories out of illegal immigrants who were deported back to Mexico after committing crimes. Some people are just blind softies.

And of course, one of these deportees who has a lifetime ban, does what? Gets his American wife pregnant after he gets deported and she is visiting. Cue the crying, "oh we'll be separated, pity us."

:sleepy: Dumbasses.

No, no - one day they woke up and found themselves in another country illegally and with children. Try to put yourself in their position. It could happen to any of us.

I don't complain about the physical stuff. People told me when I was younger that I would end up crippled and in a lot of pain. So sure, that much is true but I don't regret it at all. Be true to yourself. Unless you are a murderous psychopath anyway.

I blame the American wife for being naive and dumb too.

How pretty is this? I almost lost the boat today (whew....) All 4 bilge pumps frozen solid. the weight of the wet snow on top of wet snow took the bow down below the thruhull line.....The water started backing up from the toilet bowl intake (because I forgot to close the valve for the winter). Had to go buy extra pumps....I was pumping water in the snow all afternoon. (Keep your fingers crossed).
