Volvo is now owned by Chinamen, with new models made in China. Coming to a 99 cents store near you! :)

:o:o:o:o

Well, scratch that then.

I kind of want a 7 passenger car next time, I guess I'll go American. I already stand out too much around here with a Subaru....

This is sad but inspiring at the same time.

He was such a brave person to face death in his own terms.

I am scared to die.

I want our next car to be the Volvo XC90, but it is 56,000 before tax.:cry::cry:

does it have to be a new one? if no, seek a used one that has all of the maintenance records (i do mean all).

otherwise, for a new one - be wary - china owns the company now (as Steve told ya)

If it was me, I'd buy 2 Renault Kangoos with TDI engine, LHD, from The Benelux, used, and import em. about 8000 EU per unit, 1100 USD for shipping, another bit for import tax. Why get these? They are super reliable and don't break. Then trick em out inside.

Tooth 8, you ever read Shakespeare?

Hold it close to your heart.

“A coward dies a thousand times before his death, but the valiant taste of death but once. It seems to me most strange that men should fear, seeing that death, a necessary end, will come when it will come.”

I had a used Volvo before and loved it when it was running well, but it was one made in Sweden.... our family had a couple made in Sweden ones and almost without fail between 120-160k, huge problems with very expensive fixes.

I'm not such a huge fan of buying used cars though, personal preference. I'd kind of rather dump a car before it hits 100-120k, depending. I might hold on to the Subaru as my daughter's first car if it is still in good shape (the permit age is 15 here).
