In NYC, there are a lot of "buffs", wanna be's. There's neighborhood patrols, volunteer ambulance services, etc....And believe me, we really don't need them.

No, I'm not sure anything does when it comes to renovations. It is kind of "when the spirit moves him" type deal.

I can't remember if it is Sweden or Denmark, but one of them has a system that trains citizens to do CPR response and then when someone goes into cardiac arrest, it sends an alert to all nearby people who have been trained. They then respond because they are usually a block away or much closer than an ambulance.

wow eva air has a one way flight from seattle to singapore for $463. that particular eva flight has a pretty good rating (9/10) too on expedia.

return ticket with delta was $850. is it me or are airfares really low right now? i've never been able to buy US-Asia tickets for under 4 figures before...
